Spent two nights here after booking l,enclume for a birthday treat for my husband and we needed somewhere close by. It was a short walk (15 mins) to the square in Cartmel so really handy. Our second visit this year, this time we stayed four nights. Everything is run like clockwork by the owners Chris, Andrea and the excellent staff. Food really excellent and good value. wine list is extensive and not over the top either. Good old fashioned hospitality is provided that is often vacant from many similar country hotels. Well done Aynsome. We...
