We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our coast to coast walk and enjoyed our stay. We were picked up as promised as Ennerdale View is a couple of miles from the coast to coast path, and dropped back again the following morning. Our room had double aspect windows to a lovely view, was tastefully decorated, with plenty of hot water and the opportunity to have a bath (Shower also available) - which was very welcome after the day's walk, and not always available at b and bs on the trip. Dinner was very good indeed with a choice on offer. Good value.

Highlight of this B&B is the hot tub overlooking Ennerdale water after our first day's C2C walk. Evening meal and breakfast were both lovely.

We have just got back from a stay at this B&B, a wonderful experience and a home from home. Jo & Paul were the perfect hosts and the food, both breakfast & evening meal, was beautifully cooked and presented. We hadn't booked an evening meal on the first night but although we arrived at 5.0 pm they asked us if we would like to eat there and even offered a choice. We thought we couldn't eat pudding until Paul offered us home made chocolate fudge cake and we all said yes immediately and weren't disappointed. The best bit of the whole stay was when Paul brought a bottle of wine and 3 glasses out to the terrace (yes it was sunny & fairly warm) and we sat and drank our wine looking out at the perfect view. We came for a family funeral but will definitely be back to stay for some walking or cycling, Thanks Jo & Paul for a lovely stay.

Nice to have visited Paul & Jo for a second time, because even with a broken foot the first year in the establishment, food and all other comforts were second to none,so this trip was booked without hesitation .
