Stayed for a week in 'Millstream'. Comfortable, spotless accommodatioin with everything we could possibly need. Just a short walk into the town which is full of history and fascinating. Lots of local walks we hardly needed the car! Owners were very welcoming and helpful. This was a perfect place to stay enroute to Scotland so will definitely stay again and... More

A lovely wee apartment, very well designed with beautiful soft furnishings. Self catering, due to food allergies, kitchen had everything we required, and a welcome hamper with local produce was an unexpected bonus! Peter was very informative on arrival about local places of interest, pity our weather was a bit hit and miss!!!! But it is the British summer!

We stayed a week in the Sowerberry apartment. It was elegant, comfortable and very well appointed. We were made very welcome and would recommend it. It's in the old part of Alston and has Wi-Fi available.

Stayed for the weekend in Millstream with the wife and 3 kids. Fantastic accommodation and location. A very short walk to the main street. Owners are very welcoming, helpful and attention to detail is second to none. Would recommend to all.

We stayed in Sowerberry Cottage - it is a lovely cottage, well furnished with a wonderful attention to detail. Great views from the balcony and the Wi-Fi was a real bonus too. I'd strongly recommend this as somewhere to stay.

These are well designed townhouses or masionettes in the old quarter of Alston. They are convenient for shops, restaurants and other amenities in Alston. Alston is a remote town in the northern Pennines, but all facilities are contained therein. A quite spectacular setting for those interested in quiet countryside walks, important historical sites (Roman remains everywhere!), a railway being restored... More

We stayed in the Sowerberry apartment. No complaints about anything, Great layout and fully equipped with everything you would need self catering. You can tell the owners did not cut corners with the refurbishment. Alston is a lovely little town, Sowerberry is right on the doorstep of all the local amenities. Would return!

We stayed in the sowerberry apartment and it was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable. Really couldn't ask for more, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We stayed 3 nights, would have loved to stay for longer. The owners live next door and were very helpful. Our only issue was the wifi, it was... More
