Arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a pub full of men who just stared at 2 ladies walking into the hotel/pub. We were shown to our very basic room with a window that didn't shut. We then went out and returned about 9pm. The music was so loud that the floors and walls were vibrating. We couldn't hear... More

Large beer garden but awful facilities. No toilet roll and dirty toilets. Went this venue for friends party and thought bonus as live 5 minutes away. Which was very lucky because kept going home use toilet. Soon as temperature dropped I left as pub was not much better then toilets

Highly recommend that YOU DONT STAY ON HOTEL EVER! On trying to check in on a Saturday evening I stood at the bar/reception. 20 minutes later I asked the only person I seen where the reception was and he said here!! Then a woman turned up and checked me in and showed me to my room. I got the feeling... More

The level of noise at the pub/hotel was disturbing. I arrived yesterday afternoon with a friend who made the original booking. After speaking to a member of staff on the phone early yesterday afternoon, it was agreed we could arrive and access our room at 3pm. When we arrived, we were told to wait 10 mins, which in fact was... More

This hotel was booked for me by my place of employment. No parking, mountaineer steep stairs, old and tired furniture. Room en suite but if using sink you couldn't shut the door it's so small. Shower pressure was the only saving grace in the whole place. Roller blind on window see through so when sun came up you're awake. 5am... More

Arrived at approx 11pm ( single female) and was booked in and taken to my room. Although small it was clean and the bed comfortable. Had a drink with the locals who were all friendly towards me. There is a communal kitchen which provides tea, coffee. Fruit, yogurt, cereals toast/ bread and fruit juices I was told to help myself... More

Room 7. Small room ideal for me. Neat and tidy? TV small but OK - one the benefits being no BBC, which I found quite liberating. Shower no bath, but good waterpressure and hot. Towels dry and bed made new each day. Free coffee tea toast cereals etc as much as you like whenever you like. They are good people... More

i stayed one night, and I got a warm friendly reception. My room was clean, and perfectly adequate. I had a separate bathroom which was ok, nothing glamorous but I didn't expect much for £25. Breakfast was in the room next door, so that was convenient. It's help yourself, so guests come in and out from about six-thirty in the... More

I only stayed for 1 night (mid week) and had no problems with noise despite the pub downstairs, it was all but empty from around half nine at night. The rooms are small but had everything I needed; and the bed I slept in was comfy which was the main thing. Basic breakfast but for £30 I wasn't expecting anything... More
