Had a 2 night Groupon deal stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel is very attractive, with Tudor style façade and a rural views across the car park. Though on a pretty busy road traffic noise is not an issue and the lovely sound of the fountain is a great first impression. Our check in was quick & pleasant... More

Stayed 1 night after visiting carfest north. Got there too early to check in, but we were welcomed with free coffee, staff were great and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a great looking place in good location and good value for money

Stayed midweek for a break to Chester, about 20 mins away by car. Lovely old Tudor building, steeped in history, beautiful when lit up at night. Great location with wonderful views all around. The staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was good quality & buffet style so all you can eat really. The hotel itself is a little tired... More

We asked for a quiet room and we most certainly got one. A second floor room at the end of a corridor overlooking corn fields - wow, what a great view, it most certainly made our weekend. The room was huge with a good en suite bathroom - the double divan bed looked lost in such a large room and... More

We had such an amazing wedding day from the night before to the day after. Suzanne looked after us exceptional well, I can't thank her and the staff enough. They went beyond the call of duty when my wedding ring was lost. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The marque were the wedding reception was held was gorgeous. The... More

Stayed 2 nights and yes looks beautiful from the outside but really needs to be refurbished. Really dark inside and although that could be classed as the charm of the hotel it was cold and uninviting. Don't think l would stay again. Owners should look closer and see it really needs cleaned. Every windowsill had dead flies on them. Not... More

we checked in for an overnight stay, dinner and breakfast. This is a very old building and could benefit from some modernization without taking away any authenticity. The room we had was at the back of the building and proved to be quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable and tea, coffe etc provided. It even... More
