I travel around the country a lot on business and have used all of the usual corporate "budget" hotels and can now easily find my way around a Premier Inn room in the dark, nothing wrong with knowing what to expect when you walk in the door after a hard days travel, but all a bit bland sometimes. Just recently...

Upon arrival the door to the what was later discovered was the check-in desk cum waitresses pick up point for drinks, was closed. Access was through the bar area and with baggage this proved to be annoying to both the customers in the bar and to us. Once in the room, which was freezing, we looked forward to a shower....

Visited here for one night back in April 2016 with a large family group before heading to Manchester. We were shown to our rooms upon arrival and my double room was clean and spacious. I was a bit sceptical as our window overlooked the car park on the ground floor. However it was very quiet and we had no reason...

meals were good , accommodation was fine . sadly , following an accident there ( which for legal purpose i cannot comment ) we have been treated appallingly by the staff at the time and by Mitchell & Butlers since . They have , in my opinion spent a fortune on various things , but completely ignored their loyal clients...

We have used The Bears Head on several occasions and have been reasonably satisfied. This time in Room 209 we found the room cold as there was no heat in the radiators night or morning. The shower failed for a time which was unsatisfactory! The room was adequate and the bed comfortable. All was clean. The complimentary breakfast is sufficient...

Stayed in Room 104; small, basic but clean. Single bed in the room – not slept in a single bed for years, and another issue was the light in the car park was really bright until early in the morning. A/C and water systems quite noisy too. However, room was warm and shower was hot AND powerful. Free Wi-Fi too....

Very helpful staff and a great place for a stopover. Rooms clean and comfortable and easy to get to. My room 101 was on ground floor, near the side entrance and next to the car park, which might be an issue for some, but I didn't notice any noise. Continental breakfast was included, extra for cooked. Bar restaurant is large...

Stayed at the Bears Head, Brereton, Sandbach, for one night, using a Virgin Experience voucher we received as a joint Christmas present. Thanks to good old SatNav we were taken right to the door of this lovely ancient hotel - off the beaten track, which may be hard to find otherwise. A very picturesque building in a lovely country village....

Stayed here with my wife and 2 kids in a family room. Very clean and nice. Free WiFi. Bathroom was fine. We weren't woken up at all...noise was not an issue for us. We had a room that faced the main road and didn't really notice. Had a meal in the pub next door...it was excellent. Lots of nice walks...
