Booked two rooms and asked for twin beds in one. Did not happen and was given a z bed for my son who is over 6 foot 2 inches tall. It was a two night stay so my Mother in Law could visit old friends as she had moved from the area last year. For the price we expected a... More

The restaurant here serves top class food and is a special dining experience. I took my wife for her birthday and, although we were the only diners in the restaurant, we had an exceptional dinner. The fact that we were on our own also meant that we got some extra dishes from the tasting menu, which we hadn't chosen but... More

We used secret escapes to book this trip, we stayed in a suite, had afternoon tea and ended our stay with the breakfast. The room was fabulous and though it didn't bother me, you could hear the guest upstairs walking around in their room. The afternoon tea was worth every penny and is one of the best I've had, the... Booked a room for three nights at a price which was significantly higher than rooms elsewhere. Was hoping for something a bit special. Room (17) was clean and tidy but very small, so cramped it was not possible to open one of the wardrobe doors. And the toilet did not always flush properly. A lovely view into the back garden,... We booked Alderley Edge Hotel through Secret Escapes for two nights mid-week. The package comprised a superior double room with breakfast and a five-course tasting menu. Everything about the stay was excellent. The room was very spacious with a king size bed and a comfortable sitting area. The breakfast menu was comprehensive with a continental buffet and a wide choice... More

We visited the Alderley Edge Hotel for Dinner at the Brasserie, for our Anniversary and my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal. The food was first class and beautifully presented and the staff were extremely attentive and responsive to our needs. We have dined here previously and my Wife thought it was wonderful, when they asked if we... More

We visited here for our 'date night'. My partner loves his food and we weren't disappointed. We were given 2 extra free courses as a starter from the tasting menu and the home made bread rolls were delicious! Can't fault it at all. The food was excellent. A beautifull young lady served us she was very helpful and friendly. It... More

We visited this week for afternoon tea and it was truly the best I have ever had. We were keen to try the food as my daughter is getting married there next year. The atmosphere was wonderful, staff very helpful and the food exceptional. We are returning in the next few weeks to try the taster menu. Very impressed!

I booked this hotel for a VERY special occasion - it seemed a VERY reasonable price so I had mixed hopes & expectations. I booked a 5 course taster meal, overnight accommodation in a deluxe room and breakfast. When booking I said what the occasion was and the staff promised a great room - we got it - The Tatton!...
