We had booked a superior room and it was next to the function room we had to move to another very small room, had no apology and refunded just the cost of the room change, ruined our night as this was a very expensive room for one night.

Pat and I decided to give this hotel a try as we wanted to stay overnight. Given the image created by the website and its locality we were rather disappointed in the overall standards for the prices. Not just the accommodation but other prices too. If we got the expected standards then we would have been happy with the prices...

Stayed overnight and absolutely loved the settings and the atmosphere. I got one of the superior double rooms. The room was perfect with a spacious bathroom. The room had a desk and 2 armchairs. Fairly reasonably priced too

We had around 40 guests stay at The Alderley edge hotel for our wedding party which was being held in a local venue which had no bedrooms itself. Myself and my husband also stayed in the Arley suite on the night of the wedding. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the hotel and it didn't meet our expectations. The rooms themselves...

Small, clean rooms. Staff somewhat friendly. Very quiet location with beautiful garden around & great High Street in walking distance. Breakfast with great selection. Walls between rooms very thin, hence you wake up when your neighbor does.

We were at the Hotel at the same time as the previous trip adviser reviewer who visited for a wedding. The wedding party were appalling. The Alderley team acted politely and professionally under difficult circumstances to ensure that the rest of the guests were not impacted upon. Our room was stunning and service excellent as usual its a shame the...

Came here on a Sunday afternoon before going to the airport to catch a flight. Alderley Edge is quite handy for a pre flight meal. The restaurant was too formal for what we were looking for but the menu looked good and they certainly have plenty of accolades. Opted for the Brasserie and their "Retro" menu. Quite a wide selection...

Came for a wedding - stayed for 2nights, the hotel is just off from the main village of Alderley Edge so your right on the doorstep of bars and everything the village has. We were only here for a wedding so didn't venture further out than what we needed to get from the village. The hotel itself is set in...

A good bed, in a hotel that otherwise disappointed in several respects. The floor creaked with every step, and that was the same in neighbouring rooms, as I could clearly hear. I returned one evening to find my room door very slightly ajar; obviously it had not been properly shut by cleaning staff, as indeed it needed a firm pull...
