Had a two night stay here while we were house hunting in the area. Looked good on the website, but the pictures don't do it justice. It is stunning inside. We were met by Chris and Sonja, and what a warm welcome it was, we were shown into the lounge, and given tea and lemon cake, which was lovely. When... More

A lovely experience, a warm welcome from Sonja. My room was very clean and comfortable overlooking the back garden, which was full of birds of all varieties, plus the added bonus of a bat! My vegetarian breakfast was excellent, with the homemade veggie sausages something to write home about. I shall certainly stay again when I am next in the... More

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was superb. We were greeted by Sonja, who invited us in and took us through to the front room. We were then offered some cake and a pot of tea. What a warm welcome! After a pleasant conversation, during which her husband Chris introduced himself, we were... More

Stunning Victorian interior with timelessly tasteful decor. Elegant yet supremely comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere created by wonderful hosts, Sonja & Chris. Cosy bedlinen of the highest quality ensured a peaceful nights rest with soft fluffy towels & everything you need thoughtfully provided. Excellent breakfast finishing with a selection of Chris' delicious homemade jams & marmalades. We wish we had... More

My stay at The Old Vicarage was a real treat. The house is beautiful with a great sense of care and thoughtfulness gone into the decor and furniture creating a peaceful and tasteful environment. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with homemade jam and marmalade and Sonja also went to the trouble of making me some vegetarian sausage. Sonja and Chris... More

We based ourselves at this B&B while doing some family history research in East Anglia and also visiting some nearby attractions such as Sandringham Estate. Sonja and Chris were excellent hosts. They provided for all our needs on our five night stay and made excellent suggestions for local places of interest and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. Sonja... More

We found The Old Vicarage B&B on the Internet and booked for 1night. WOW, it exceeded all expectations. Sonja and Chris welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home. On arrival Sonja served tea and the most delicious gluten free chocolate cake in the library. Their home is truly magnificent, beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest quality. Our room was... More

We've stayed in many, many B&Bs in the past 30 years and this has to be right up among the very best. Sonia & Chris instantly made us feel like old family friends. The service and decor were impeccable. The room and bath exceeded expectations. What more can I say but "bravo!" The location is a bit off the beaten... More

We felt we were the most important guests they've ever had, right from the hearty welcome through the four nights we stayed there. Breakfasts were a delight, with traditional English, served a la carte, in a setting right out of Downton Abbey. Although the house was furnished in a traditional classic style, everything gave a fresh and clean feeling. Clean... More
