Just visited the carvery. Fab food. Nice people. Carvery fresh. Staff happy friendly. Food good. Will definitely be back again. If your in the Wisbech area this is a goldmine. There was four of us and we all loved it.

Have visited the Stable Bar & Restaurant a few times now for the Sunday carvery as it's the best meal and deal in the Wisbech area. Latest visit was Sunday 24th May. The chef slices and serves the meat of your choice (there's normally 3 or 4 meats to select from) and then you help yourself to whatever you want.... More

went here on sunday 12/10/14 there was 4 meats and veg well roast pots mash,stuffing parsnips sweed, carrots,cauliflower,broad beans, yorkies,peas,green beans all fresh and well cooked and staff was brilliant 10 out ov 10 :-)

Have stayed here quite a lot of times now over the past few years. Always get a good welcome warm and friendly. Rooms have always been good with 42inch TV, tea/coffee facilities. Purposely went for lunch with my 2yo and my mum again today can't beat it yummy carvary at only £4.95 a head for adults!! Friendly staff and welcoming it's cheaper and easier than buying the roast and cooking yourself will be going back again and again!

this by far the best carver for miles .i travel 35miles on a regular basis just to enjoy the food .carvery monday to saturday is only 3.95 all food is fresh and cooked properly .a good selection of vegetables is on offer .plus 3 sorts of meat .if you,re still hungry .there is selections of sweets on offer at extra... Booked for one night. Was shown into a cold cold room no heating on, -3 degrees asked for another room that was even colder but spotted electric heater asked for a smaller room to put heater in. Was gross. The pine bed creaked all night. Had to ask for a tea cup. Smelt fusty. The milk was out of date... More

We have stayed in the past now its under new manegment u can see the difference clean tidy rooms a nice welcome as u arrived breakfast in morning was excellent tables laid out ready with everything u needed fresh juce tea coffe ceral we will be back

Firstly i drove past and noticed the main hotel building, clean and impressive. Then i noticed the personality crisis. Despite being advertised as a hotel it also appears to be a bed and breakfast. The room was large, warm and comfortable. however, once booked in we were forgotton about. no breakfast sunday morning, chef was not told that we were booked for breakfast and at 8.50am he told us that he had started the lunch time carvery and he could only do egg on toast, not the full english we had paid for upfront....
