We checked in Saturday night, everything was great, friendly arrival. We went for dinner then decided to come back to the hotel. In the morning we needed extra towels so I went down to reception, and a lovely Lady called Amanda was more than happy to help me. Upon leaving we stopped for a chat with her and she was kind enough to give us directions to our next destination as we we're a bit unsure. Overall very clean and comfortable hotel. Will be sure to stay again.

The hotel itself is what you would expect for a Travelodge, its a little run down, the room did smell slightly musty as I entered for the first time. But if you're staying in a travelodge you're not there for a 5 star room. The staff were the absolute star's of the show however, no request to difficult, always attentive to clients and waiting to assist should any be required. They were far and above the expectation I had, of a £49 / nigh hotel and should be truly commended.

We arrived in the dark and had a bit of a job finding the entrance to the site. It didn’t help that the main road was closed and we had to make a detour through Huntingdon, but no mention of this when you book and because the new A14 is open the lodge is in a bit of a back water. But hey the bed was comfy and the room was clean.

Although this travel lodge is ready for an upgrade it was very clean and comfortable and a perfect place to stay in route for Suffolk. The room and bathroom was clean, the bed comfortable and everything was in working order. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. You need to drive to eat but this is a petrol station you can walk to which sells snacks and drinks
