If you find yourself anywhere near Winslow and needing food you must call in at The Bell Hotel in the Market Square. The Steak and Stilton Pie is to die for!!A crisp pastry and a delicious filling of tender steak ond a tangy stilton-add the mash or chips and what more can you want?

We have just enjoyed a lovely week-end at The Bell. The room was quirky, private and cozy with the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food was excellent, particularly the wonderful breakfast.

Bad Beer, Brexit riddled punters in the bar, terrible menu of bad renditions of 70s frozen crap. Disappointing carvery. Horrible decor. I suspect this place is only busy owing to business in MK. I can't for the life of me imagine it has repeat business, restaurant was empty, understandably. Locals do not eat here. Terrible coffee despite being stone's throw... More

We had pre-dinner drinks in the bar, bar staff very friendly and chatty. We were then taken through to the dining room and were greeted by the waitress who was the exact opposite! Dining room a bit dated, but ok. Half of our party had the carvery option and said the meat melted in your mouth and vegetables etc were... More

I stayed here for a week with work. Was working late hours but didn't once get to sleep in past 7am. The housekeeping staff are very loud (but you can't blame them for the ludicrous placement of their laundry room right next my room in the annex of the hotel). To make it worse workman started drilling and banging in... More

Our room was fine and the hotel and bar staff excellent. The carvery was the best I have ever been to ! The decor of the dining room and bar is rather old-fashioned bur hey I like it that way. If you need to stay over for an event at Silverstone it is just fine.

Family get together food was very nice all arrived at the same time. Menu had lots to choose from also the specials board was full of surprises. Pie was supposed to be their speciality..I didn't think it was. Rest of the table were happy with their meals. All in all a good place to eat.

We visited poundon house for a wedding this weekend and I can't say that any of us were happy with our stay at all, knowing how to run holiday rentals myself I was shocked to see the state of the room. First of all let me explain, we arrived at about 3:30 on Friday afternoon having travelled three and a... More

Clean rooms but very poorly decorated and equipped. Breakfast was dreadful, poor selection and dark, dim breakfast room with just someone who was cleaning to help you. It is an old building and I expected to have that olde world feel but the whole place was just shabby and so depressing. Staff were pleasant and cheery though.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to The Bell Hotel Winslow, ideally located for anyone seeking an Aylesbury hotel or Milton Keynes hotel. Our hotel lies in the centre of the historical market town of Winslow, enriched with quaint boutique stores and situated in the midst of the Buckinghamshire countryside. All our bedrooms are en-suite, well appointed and comfortable with tastefully colour coordinated fabrics and furnishings. We provide four executive rooms with the luxury of jacuzzi baths and four poster beds, as well as three family rooms and our range of double, twin and single rooms. In late 2012, the hotel was purchased by its previous owners who are once again providing a daily 'hands on management' approach towards the running of the hotel. Very popular with local residents of the town, "Rosies" Bar has now moved to the hotel and their well known management offer a wide range of Beers, Wines and Spirits along with an extensive and appetizing Bar Menu, created by their original chefs. The Bell Hotel is composed of "Rosies" Bar, plus a Carvery Restaurant - serving up to 160 people - a TV lounge, Coffee Lounge and ample free parking for all guests. Free internet access is available in all public areas. We supply meeting and conference facilities as well as catering for a large number of private functions and weddings for which we also hold a civil ceremony license. We look forward to seeing you here at The Bell Hotel. ... more   less
