Very comfortable hotel and with delicious breakfast included, good value for money, central to the charming town of Buckingham, with many places of interest nearby to visit. The staff were extremely kind and helpful

We visited twice during December. The first time with a very large group (we took over 90% of the restaurant) in the evening and the second time as a couple for lunch. On both occasions the food and service were fabulous. We had the goats cheese to start, followed by steak and for pud - chocolate tart. All without fault....

Superb hotel large comfortable rooms in a old Coaching Inn updated to an excellent Standard. Part of the Oxfordshire Hotels groups. Food is very good and the staff are very welcoming. Good stop for Bletchley Park,Blehiem Palace and Oxford. Have been many times - never disapointed.

Lovely, happy, smiling staff. From arrival to departure we were pleased with the standard of room, lovely food and nice ambience. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated (excepting the 60th birthday banners placed on my door by our friends!). Thank you to all...

Called into the bar at Villiers for a glass of wine and a bar meal. I opted for the Caesar Salad - what could go wrong? Sadly, it was the dullest and most unimaginatively presented salad I've ever had! A large bowl full of lettuce, a few bits of tasteless chicken and a strange arrangement of halved tomatoes. Wish I'd...

We had our wedding reception here in early January. It was magical. Since we said we wanted to have our reception there, the wedding planner listened to our requirements and delivered 120%. We found that all the staff there were extremely friendly, approachable and so professional. Even if people just want to take advantage of the restaurant, I promise you...

Staff helpful and food good. Rooms tired and in need of repairs. For example net curtains were dark grey with dirt, lots of peeling paint. Bed was layered with mattress boosts as so soft. One of my colleagues had no towels in her room - real lack of attention to detail.

Having visited here previously for an afternoon tea we decided to do the same again with friends. Although not quite as good as the first visit it was nevertheless very good. If you do want somewhere special to go for an afternoon tea this is very good.

Anyone who has not been staying under a rock when travelling for the last decade now expects hotels to manage basic connectivity with the outside world. Do not expect this if you stay at the Villiers Hotel. The wifi is fussy to access. (Your email has to be 'registered' by a central functionary of the hotel.) But even after you...

Dear Apocolocyntosis Thank you for your Review. I was disappointed to read that you had experienced so many problems trying to connect to our wifi system and fear your stay with us may have coincided with an issue we had with power cuts on one electrical phase coming into the hotel, which unfortunately was beyond our control. The electrical phase...
