Upon arrival, the receptionist was dealing with a disgruntled guest on the phone. Terrible first impression. The room was tired, with a hairdryer and phone that were from the 1970s. The pillows stank of mildew. The waitress at breakfast was rude, and we waited 10 minutes to be served tea/coffee that we had pre-ordered. A thoroughly disappointing stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Our room was large with all the facilities you could want. Breakfasts were served quickly and a very good choice. We had dinner on one night and it was fantastic,. Chicken dish superb and cod and chorizo stew was delicious. The puddings were the best we have had. Our thanks to the chef and the rest of the staff. Bletchley Park is a must if you are staying at this hotel.

Nice hotel in a nice location. Nice and relaxing with pleasant staff. Spacious room although the shower temp wasn’t easy to control. Very central in the village. Spacious car park. Didn’t stay for food but the bar was relaxing. Well maintained.

Stayed for one night D B+B. Had a very nice standard room. The staff were excellent. The dinner good as was the breakfast with a varied selection. Unfortunately no rooms have shower cubicles. Whilst there suggest a walk round Buckingham town and a visit to the Old Gaol museum.
