I have travelled the U.K. often but I have never had such an awesome experience as when I stayed at the Old Post Cottage. The property is situated in the ancient old village of Lillingstone Lovell and is complete with a 11th century church. Thatched rooftops with livestock and horses milling about add to a story book feel. The host... More

Members of the Focus ST Owners club stayed the night at the old post cottage for the weekend of Ford Fair 2013. The place was amazing, so well kept, bautiful scenery. The B&B was bautiful inside and out and Jennifer was such a loverly host nothing was too much trouble. I recommend that you book all rooms and enjoy all... More

The B&B is a very welcoming place and as to the previous posts is very close to Silverstone. We stayed as group taking the full occupancy and nothing was too much trouble - although at times we felt we took over slightly as we vigoursly cleaned our cars and had a BBQ in gorgeous back garden. The Rooms are very... More

My wife and I are visiting Engaland for 2 months from Australia. We stayed 5 nights partly to attend a race at Silverstone and we were so pleased. Only a few miles from the circuit but in a beautiful village with pubs within easy drive also close to Oxford and Blenheim Palace. Jennifer met us on arrival with a welcome... More

Just returned from our 2nd stay at the old Post Cottage. We went for Grand Prix weekend, the Bed and breakfast is about 2.5 miles from the track and in a really quiet village. Nearest pub is Bull and butcher in Akeley (2.5 miles), good for food although it is best to book, there is also the Fox and Hounds in... More

I stayed here with my husband, son & niece from 17th-19th September 2010. We rented a double & twin room which had already been described to me in complete detail so knew what to expect. Our 2 rooms shared a huge bathroom that had plenty of toiletries and towels available should we have needed to use/borrow any. Jennifer was brilliant... More

This is a lovely spot in the Bucks countryside and Jennifer goes out of her way to make you feel welcome (out of the snow!) Very convenient for the Silverstone race track, well equipped rooms and a great breakfast too! I would have no hesitation in recommending it for a weekend stay (though I hear it gets very busy when... More
