It would be 4.7 stars but sadly not in the choice ! Stayed here before with our dog as we moved to the coast but stay here when we visit. The price is fantastic if you book in advance and the dog only costs a few pounds more. The room is clean as are the corridor's, access is easy and you have plenty of choice with food as it is ideally set in a service station, out back the pond/lake has lots of wildlife and also play area for the kids if you have any. You cannot find fault at this price, yes the reception is "efficient" if not shall we say friendly, but they get the job done after all your not booking in to the Dorchester! Give it a try and your bank manager will love you!

Hotel's Favorite
I use this hotel alot for business trips. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, but always clean, comfortable and parking is free. Many restaurant options next door including Pizza Express and Cafe Leon, as well as M&S. Perfect easy place to stay for a business traveller...

This IBIS has a lovely vibe - it's clean, friendly, just off the M40, but feels v quiet and peaceful. It has a lovely landscaped lake next to the hotel, with lovely mature trees all around. The staff on reception are always friendly and relaxed and welcoming.

Friendly staff. Beautifully decorated rooms (a little on the small side). Super clean. Excellent value for money. Great facilities and food court at the Services next door. One thing I didnt like was the need to go to the lobby and get drinks from the machine (£1.40 per coffee). I would prefer coffee facilities in the room though that may add to the cost of the stay. My room for the evening cost £34.00 which is great value. One more observation, I found the quilt to be too thin and would have preferred a heavier quilt.

I have stayed here perhaps 100 times. On a recent visit there was a problem and I took photographs. The hotel staff said the manager was aware and would contact me. Alas the manager has gone into his shell and won't have the decency to honour his employees promise. I ended up in hospital. Exercise caution if staying here.
