My husband and I stayed here along with 9 others for 3 nights. From the moment we stepped in we were made to feel like friends. Kerry (the Landlord) and his staff are to be commended for their fantastic customer service. Our room (number 1 situated between the courtyard and the garden) was lovely. I had been a bit worried... First of all the look of this place is great, pretty courtyard, great garden and a great community feel in the bar area. The room was the right size for us, clean, comfortable and warm. We have a toddler, but this was not a problem. We had a pop up bed provided and little touches like toddler cutlery for breakfast... More

What a pretty courtyard, lots of lovely hanging baskets, and such a friendly reception when we arrived ! We slept well, and enjoyed very tasty breakfasts, much nicer than many' main course' meals in far more pretentious places. Although there is very little on street parking, there is a good arrangement that guests can use the nearby British Legion Club... More

Kerb appeal didn't look great, however staff all very welcoming and friendly, lovely garden and seating at the back (carry on through the little courtyard), oh and good food, good choice of fish dishes :) On street parking so can be tricky finding a space.

Nice rooms around the courtyard, nice garden and great pub with good, well kept beers and a nice breakfast wether you want fruit or full English. Good menu for lunches and evening meals. For a break from... More

Lovely friendly country pub, frequented by locals. Excellent food and a good variety of ales. Great place for a drink in the evening, but also very pleasant and child friendly to go during the day. My kids really enjoy their beautiful garden.
