I stayed with my 2 children in a lovely room in the hotel (not in the old part of the hotel, but in the annex). The room was beautifully fragrant and clean. The setting was just idyllic. I just wished I was there on a romantic break with a partner rather than 2 kids!

My wife and i and many Family members and friends stayed here for 5 nights in July and we had a super time. Our room was large and overlooked the High Street. We had a Family meal on the Friday night (17 of us) and the food and service was superb. We liked the attitude of the team-friendly-professional and helpful and we enjoyed... A lovely old world charm about this place with really well appointed rooms - despite the age of the building, the rooms are very well maintained. We found our room, a duplex, very comfortable and with all the necessary amenities and good value. The courtyard is beautiful and a very relaxing place to sit. All the staff were warm and... More

We had our wedding at the Kings Chapel earlier a couple of weeks ago and we were extremely impressed. The whole booking/planning process was excellent, our contact, Lizzie was always helpful and quick to respond. On the day the staff could not have been more helpful and the food was excellent. This is a beautiful venue and we would highly... More

Two nights stay whilst visiting relatives in the area. What makes this very comfortable hotel stand out from the crowd is the excellent staff who work there, both management and every member of the team goes the extra mile to ensure you have a good stay. Rooms are more modern in the courtyard extension and the character rooms in the... More

Charming hotel in a great location in the centre of Old Amersham. Room was very comfortable and had good facilities. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and disappointing with everything laid out buffet style - this meant that the eggs, bacon etc was a little cold and rubbery. Sort out a better system for breakfast and everything will be fine.

Stayed for a wedding in March and had a wonderful stay. Small quaint room over the Pub, a bit noisy until 11pm but fine after that. Staff were all very helpful and the grounds are beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the hotel where our son was married. We recommend the venue for the wedding and as guests overnight. Beautiful venue, staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room and the town house which other guests used were very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Well done to all the staff and management.

My husband and I highly recommend staying at The Kings Arms Hotel and enjoying food and drinks at its pub. The building's history dates back to the 1400s and gave us a chance to step back in time without losing any modern conveniences (e.g., wi-fi and full-powered showers). Everyone who was working at the hotel easily answered any questions that... More

Kings Chapel is behind and separate from the hotel, perfect for small weddings. Reasonable number of parking places. The main hotel is a real historic setting; sloping floors and steps and stairs everywhere. The staff work very hard to meet every guest's needs, with a smile. I recommend it highly.
