We went to a party in the Kings Chapel behind the pub and it was superb. The converted chapel is beautiful and the food was excellent. There is a garden area with views to the church and plenty of parking. We had a barbecue and there was an extensive choice of meat, fish, seafood, vegetarian options and accompaniments. There was... Attending party. Staff coped well and very friendly. Twin room at the front was very small. A full length mirror would be appreciated. Breakfast was efficient with a good choice of buffet or from menu. Lovely location, with old high street to the front and gardens at the back .

We visited this pub today for a late lunch. The menu outside suggested sandwiches were available but when we tried to order we were told the kitchen was closed. We ordered another round of drinks whilst we waited for the kitchen to open at 4.30 and were subsequently told the kitchen wouldn't open until 5. We wouldn't have ordered the... More

We have clearly got this wrong here. We were short staffed on the day which limited the kitchen hours but staff should have been aware. Please accept my apologies- also would you please contact me at gm@kings-arms-hotel.com Peter More

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, as it is only a 30 min ride to heathrow. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, however, this time we were there on a Sunday and noted that the kitchen would close down at 8pm, so we duly made ourselves available at around 7.15 for dinner only to be told... Lovely friendly hotel. Stayed for a couple of nights for a wedding recently and were thoroughly charmed by the historic inn. The room was quirky without a straight line in the building, though spacious and comfortable. As a wedding reception venue, it was superb. I had no great expectation of the food, but was very pleasantly surprised by the quality... More

This is our second visit to this hotel and it was wonderful - so much better than the last time - the reception staff were friendly and their service was over and above. We also visited their sister hotel The Crown, where the staff were also so helpful. Both these hotels are doing something right - their staff are amongst... More

My elderly mother along with my sister and myself spent a night at this historical hotel. The purpose of our visit was to revisit some of the surrounding area where my mother grew up. This old coaching Inn felt steeped in history - so you could imagine Oliver Cromwell opening the door centuries ago. So- a beautiful setting, with modern... More

We attended a special wedding July 1st. Hospitality was fantastic with attentive staff. Rooms clean and well furnished. Breakfast very well received although a little slow. All in all a great stay and would recommend, especially the wedding venue. Beautiful X

I have recently stayed at the Kings Arms again, this time around was much improved. Staff were more friendly, breakfast service was fast and convenient, reception service was more organised and I felt I was more welcome then the last time I stayed. I received my paper this time, whereas last time I did not. Seems they have corrected mistakes... More
