We checked in for 4 nights - I was working in London and my friend was on holiday. It's not fabulous ... but it was better than the place we had stayed for a few nights in London. And it was very reasonable (£175 for 2 people for 4 nights - different rates for different nights of the week, including... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night as we had an early flight to catch from Luton airport. At 30 pounds for both of us including breakfast ( although we had to leave before opening ) you can not complain about the price. Yes there were broken tiles and old showers, but the bed was clean, there were... More

Well on the plus side the poor staff tried to be helpful and the beds (twin) were very comfortable although with only one thin pillow each... but that is about it. On the minus side, well where to begin! The unmanned reception desk was located by the wide open doors. Helpfully, there was a notice asking guests to ring a... More

Pubic hairs in the bath, mold all around the bath, smell of damp, disgusting,, we slept on top of the beds for the time we were there, skirting boards were filthy along with the doors, carpet, etc. The only thing I can say is the bed seemed comfee. Breakfast . Very unorganized, run out of cups, glasses, fruit juice and the... More

For what you pay its absolutely fine! Very basic but nothing wrong with that. Nice comfy bed fresh sheets and hot water! All the other comments saying close it down, if you want the ritz go stay at a 5* but bet you will moan about the price of that! Nothing wrong with this place staff are friendly and food... More

Unusually I did not read the reviews before I booked but did not have too high hopes for the price. Despite having low expectations these were still not met be s long way. The room was without doubt the worst I have stayed in. Mould all over Windows, broken glass in all windows, leaking toilet, cobwebs etc. At least the... More

I booked a room by phone for two nights for a guest, almost two weeks prior to the date of stay. When we turned up to check in they told us they had no record of the booking. They had a vacancy for one night but were fully booked for the next. We were pretty disgusted. All we saw of... More

From the check-in ..... even though payment had already been taken for the room allocated, my partner found someone else in the room!! The staff didn't appear particularly bothered. He was given another room but perhaps it would have been better if he hadn't been. The photos show the state of the room and bathroom both of which were in... More

Have stayed here before so knew what to expect basic room, relatively clean attached to a hungry horse pub not the best food in the world but large portions of chain pub food at a reasonable price. Rooms quickly get booked out at the price by a lot of tradesmen working that way. Great cheap place to stay if all... More

Unusually I didn't read trip advisor before booking but I think 2/5 is fair for our room. The management appear to read reviews and act on them - we saw a mattress put out for collection and our pillows and mattress were clean under the nice fresh bedding. Plus the reception staff on checkin were nice - yes the phone... More
