I booked this hotel as a budget stopover whilst working in the area. The hotel was in need of some maintenance, that at relatively low cost, could make a significant difference to the accommodation. For example, there was a smell of dampness in the room when I arrived. It became apparent when taking a shower what the cause of this...

We stayed in the hotel for two nights we had no hand soap to wash our hands. To which we brought our own. Room was cold. People fighting in the room next door to which it felt like they were going to come through our bathroom wall. No plug for the bath and loads of hair in plug. Shelves were...

Hotel is excellent for a nights stay before flying off from Luton. Room was clean and quiet and attached to the pub so very handy for food. As part of the hungry horse chain the food was good plentiful and very reasonably priced. If I fly from Luton again I would certainly stay here again.

The highwayman is a place to stay if your not going to be in there long! We was there with a group of friends, staying over night to visit friends who live in Dunstable, lucky for us we went on a night out so didn't stay in the rooms for very long! The beds were very comfy but not the...

For the price I wasn't expecting this hotel to be anything special, however even with low expectations on arrival I was still very disappointed. The furniture was outdated and the whole room smelt musky. The edges of the windows were covered in thick mould as was the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom also had no soap or hand wash and not...

Went with wife for Lunch on a Monday. The Outside looked scruffy, needing some TLC, the surroundings were untidy with empty beer glasses thrown in plants outside front door! When we entered we hoped for better things.... However the interior was dark with tired furniture, dirty looking carpet, badly worn apholstery and the whole place had a dreadful smell of...

It is definitely not a 5* hotel, but for £52.50 per night for 2 including breakfast. What the hell do you expect? The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfy, the TV was massive, the bathroom was clean (yes slight mould in-between tiles, like most peoples) the shower was brilliant. The staff were incredibly helpful, but massively overworked, which...

Had to go out and buy a hairdryer, though it advertised having them on website. Broken drawers in room, but the worst of all was the en suite which was full of mould on the walls and furnished with stained towels. We expected basic for the price, but not this bad. Was also very noisy.
