This was my third time at Catalonia but my first as a solo traveler. The staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The trip was relaxing and I was able to find a quiet place on the beach to read everyday. The staff at BLoved was amazing! The ladies in the morning were friendly and sweet. In the evening for dinner, Moise and Carlos were exceptional! Luis served drinks on the beach and he was great. The staff working to clear the sargassum on the beach are the hardest workers I've ever seen. I'm happy that I decided to take this trip and I definitely left feeling recharged. Thank you all for a wonderful trip!

Our service was fenomenal at Beloved Lounge Restaurant. We bought a couples dinner and it was exceptional. The food was great. Definitely recommend other couples to buy the dinner. Our server David was great and recommended a great Mexican wine to go with our meal!

Shout out to Rosa, Mario, Willie, Quetzebel, Moises, Guadalupe who are ALL AMAZING! Although the resort is beautiful and staff is wonderful, we will not be returning after this 2nd visit. I specifically emailed the resort in April before booking this trip and asked if Jim Beam, Jack Daniels/Absolutely are included with a Premium room. They quickly responded and said yes, so we re-booked for June 1st-8th to celebrate our 2nd wedding Anniversary. After arriving, we decided to upgrade to Priviledge Deluxe to ensure we'd have even more liquor options to choose from. NOPE! The only benefit of upgrading was that we could eat breakfast, lunch, dinner at B'Loved, which has DELICIOUS food. The rooms aren't any different. And no one monitors the bracelet colors in the so-called Privileged beach area so it is not private. (Side Note #1) It is true that B'Loved has slightly more liquor to choose from but they still do not have a single bourbon to offer. Jim Beam/Jack Daniels/Absolut are only part of "Exclusive" upgrade. Management kept offering J&B which is a scotch, not bourbon! And Sky vodka is crap! Soooo, we tried speaking w/2 different members of Management about this issue. They could care less and both said, "We can process a refund should you decide to check out early" OR "You can pay more $ to upgrade to Exclusive." Wtf?! I showed both the email from April that clearly shows we were lied to. They refused to fix their mistake and treated us like dollar signs which further proved they didn't value our repeat business. (Side Note #2) "Exclusive" upgrades start at $10,000/10 yrs. Bottom line = If you're interested in legit top shelf alcohol to enjoy while vacationing, this isn't the resort to go to! We ended up making the best of our trip, went on a GREAT private tour w/Nefi at makeyourowntour.com, drank rail liquor for 7 days and got headaches afterwards each night. FYI to Catalonia Executives….you need to re-evaluate what is considered to be "top shelf liquor" AND work on overall Management problem solving skills.

We went for a girls trip, 6/4 to 6/9 and it was wonderful. The location is about an hour outside of Cancun and we loved that. We did have the privileged option, but honestly I think we would have been fine without it. Having the Bloved option was nice, but we preferred the buffet for our breakfast and lunch, we never had dinner at Bloved. The service was quicker at the buffet and we wanted to spend more time at the pool and beach than sitting waiting for food. Many reviews complained about the food, we thought the buffet was really good, note it is not open for dinner. Toscana wasn't great, but the grill was decent. Adelita was our favorite. The food, drinks and service at Adelita were very good. Our rooms were nice, clean and well equipped. We had a mini bar with snacks/water/beer/juice. The grounds were great, very lush and tropical. The pool was big enough and there were plenty of chairs/umbrellas. The beach was nice and private, it also had lots of chairs. I especially enjoyed the hammocks at the beach. It was a little hard to swim due to the seaweed, but that is not the resorts fault. They were cleaning up as much as they could every day. All the staff were super nice and answered all our questions. The covid testing was a bit annoying. It is no longer free as of June 1st (it was when we booked the room a few months ago), it was 17.50 USD per person. Bring cash it's much easier than paying in the website on your phone. You can only get tested 8 am to 11 am and they have no testing on Sunday's, so plan ahead. You do get results pretty quickly, we were told by 4 pm the same day of testing and we had results by 11 am. Overall a great place.

Best service and meals experience at restaurant BLove! In addition to having the best food options, server David was the ultimate host. He went above and beyond and was always a pleasure to interact with. Great recommendations. Great service. Always a smile. Because of his service, this was our go-to restaurant. Thank you for helping make our family trip a memorable time🙏❤
