Absolutely loved this hacienda. Casa Marlene is gorgeously beautiful and well run. The rooms are large, super clean and nicely designed, Service is outstanding. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to order. The grounds and garden area is lush and beautiful. A/C works, wifi works. And the location, just 2 blocks off the main square, is perfect. Can't say enough wonderful things about this B&B. We only stayed in Valladolid for 2 nights. Next trip we'll stay longer and definitely stay at Casa Marlene

Everything is wow here. It’s a beautiful 200+ year old home. Rooms are large, clean with fans & a/c, linens are good quality. WiFi is strong and works everywhere. The courtyard is a virtual botanic garden. Pool is a decent size with loungers and chairs in sun and shade. Breakfast is large, fresh and cooked to order. They are completely willing to work around food allergies. Service in all aspects is amazing. They are proud of their town and happy to give gentle suggestions and happy to hear of your experiences. It is such a retreat to return to after daily activities. My mom and I fell in love with Valladolid and everyone at casa Marlene. We only had one tiny problem. The mattresses are of very high quality and have wool in them. We are allergic to wool and had swollen itchy eyes at the end of our stay. Even with that we loved casa Marlene. We just never imagined that a hotel would have antimicrobial mattresses. Highly recommended. (Unless you’re allergic to wool).

We only had 1 night in Valladolid and chose Casa Marlene because of it's great reviews. So glad we did. From the moment we entered we felt right at home. Sharoma gave us a map and advised us on what to see and do in Valladolid as we only had 1 day to try and fit it all in. Our room was 2 storeys. You walked in the door and there was a large sitting room with a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The bedroom was upstairs and it was massive. it had a fan and air conditioning and a lovely modern bathroom, The bed was huge and we had a great nights sleep. The location couldn't be better . It's 1/2 a block from the main square where you can see local dancers around 6pm each night. We visited the Casa de los Venados museum which was so interesting, I don't know what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised, especially when the owner appeared and had a chat with us. They also have a restaurant right on Caldaza de los Frailes which was amazing. By staying at Casa Marlene you receive a free cocktail with dinner. The prices are really cheap and the food was excellent. It's the perfect place for dinner before the Video Mapping on the Convent show. Don't waste your time looking at anywhere else to stay, this place is perfect and the delicious breakfast was the cherry on the top.

We love this hotel and have been going for years. We live a few hours away and try to take at least one trip per year here. Super friendly and accommodating staff, they make you feel like part of the family, and really go above and beyond. The garden and grounds are beautiful. We have stayed in all of the rooms and each is unique. 2 minutes walking to the main square, convenient parking lot for guests next door. Delicious and creative breakfasts. You can feel the family history, and the pride that is taken in the execution of every detail of the hotel. Super recommend.

We stayed two nights in this hotel located in the center of Valladolid. The location couldn't any better, yet it was really calm. The staff was beyond nice and helpful. The garden is really beautiful and there is even a pool. The breakfast was included and was delicious, freshly cooked. We had an amazing stay !
