Nice hotel rooms - although smelt musty, nice pool (water too hot for swimming though), hotel reception staff not at all friendly or helpful, worst breakfast we had while in Mexico. Wi-fi - hit & miss. It was really hot while we were ther, making it too far to walk into town & very little to do while in town,... More

Location - coach accessibility Rooms - convenient, very spacious and clean bathroom with all modern conveniences. Amenities- general swimming facilities available. Staff - reception helpful; wifi free in room but cover for door card gives wrong I'd and pw needing clarification. Management should update information on cards. Porters and catering staff very helpful.

The gardens are amazing -when you go out on the big balcony it feels like being in a jungle but that is where the joy of this hotel ends. We stayed three nights which is just too long for this place. The beds are clean and comfy and the rooms are big however efforts to cut corners and just plain... More

This hotel is a delightful colonial style place to stay while discovering Valladolid's historic city centre and the impressive convent. We were very happy with our big room with a view onto the garden. Definitely worthwhile strolling through the gardens in order to build up an appetite for the onsite restaurant - good quality Mexican food served inside the restaurant... More

Highly recommended! The room was large, comfortable and was decorated in colonial style. Very good breakfast, reasonably priced. The only downsides - about 15-20 walk from the center of town (although taxi ride was only $1), inconsistent wi-fi.

This hotel is not a luxurious five star place, but that's not what people come to Valladolid for. Instead, it offers just what is needed, a relaxed, comfortable, clean and pretty place to stay, close (though not walking distance) to the town center, easy to get to by car and plenty of secure parking. The grounds are nice with nice... More

As other reviewers have commented, I'm surprised this place isn't more highly rated. It's easily within walking distance to the main square and has gated parking. Rooms are large, well-appointed, and are similar to those of a 4-star hotel. The price is more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

This hotel is definitely not 5 stars. Its rooms are outdated and the atmosphere in the restaurant and generally is slightly decadent, not very uplifting. The service is not great. We arrived in the room and there were no towels. It took them over an hour and 3 phone calls to get the towels to our room. Also, we mentioned... More

To call this hotel a 5 stars luxury hotel is probably the city's best kept joke. Because it's far from that. Although the premises is well constructed there is so much wrong with operations. Just a couple of irritations: - no Internet / wifi signal. Although the hotel praises it self with all round Internet. The front desk lady helped... More

This is a lovely property and if you have a car, makes a good option for a stay in Valladolid. The pluses are a great pool, lovely grounds, spacious rooms nicely decorated, and an on-site bar/restaurant. Downsides are it's distance from centro (not walkable), and the need for maintenance - at least in our room. The sliding door to the... More
