An example of how great this place is. They provide bottled water in each unit. Without asking ours was replaced when it was down to about 1/5 th full. Rarely does one go to place that sees what needs to be done and does it.

If you want clean, quiet and a private beach, this is the place. You are close to the hustle and bustle of Akumal Beach but not in the middle of it. Very private. We have been to Mexico numerous times, have partied most, now it's time for us to just relax and enjoy life. Not a better place to do...

Just finishing our stay at Las Casitas in Akumal. Our group of four scuba divers has been in one of the smaller two-bedroom units. We couldn't be happier. The units aren't super opulent, but they are very clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped, have great views, terrific little patios, individual wifi networks, shade (what a bonus!) and a great location generally. The...

As always the best place in Akumal, great casitas to stay. Wonderful staff, cleaning ladies are exceptional, friendly and beautiful. If you making reservation it is much better to do it on line or calling directly to Akumal I tried to do it by email and not good response, it is like they do not care about renting the place....

This is our 4th trip to Akumal, 3rd time staying at Las Casitas Akumal. The Casitas are located right on the beach, the beach is a separated private area only for those staying at Las Casitas. I feel reluctant to recommend anyone to chose either Akumal or Las Casitas. I'm afraid that it will become too popular. Akumal is a...

If your looking for a big, fancy, busy place to spend your valuable times away from home, this I not the place for you. Las Casitas is nothing short of perfection. I have stayed here at least 10 times in various "casitas" all of which have been perfect. Las Casitas is located in a special place called Akumal. Akumal is...

The individually owned Casitas are beautiful each in its unique way. The beach and the best snorkeling on the Mayan Riviera our feet from your front door. However this resort is not for everyone. If you'd like to get dressed up to go to dinner, if things can become too quiet and too relaxing for you, if you feel there...

The last time my wife and I stayed in Akumal was around 20 years ago in the old "casitas". The Casitas they have now are much nicer and even closer to the beach. We stayed in a two story casita. My wife and i and our 16 and 14 year old boys. The two story has an awesome floor layout...

Situated on the best bay on the Mexican Riviera Maya. The water is all shades of blue and green. The 18 units here are all within 50 feet of the bay. Snorkel and see turtles, rays and lotsa fish. Each unit is individually decorated and consists of 2 bedrooms., 2 baths and a living room/dining area / full kitchen. Nice...

The accommodations were 1st rate with everything we could want but still felt very much like a Mexican beach bungalow. You can walk down the beach for the best food.We felt like we had our own private beach just shared with a few other families that we got to know. We were a group of 5 girls who went to...
