On the whole we were satisfied with our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although there are simply too many names to remember and complement by name, we would like to mention Diego, the Head Concierge, and also Sandra Vargas who both exemplified excellent service.
The main reason we did not give the best overall rating was because we were not given the room type (a Lush Suite) that we had booked when we first arrived. Although not admitted by the resort, and we can’t prove it, our conclusion was that our room was likely to another guest who extended their stay and did not vacate the room reserved for us. On the second night we were given a Lush Suite which was directly below one of the restaurants. We were awakened at about 3 a.m. by the very loud sound of chairs scraping access the floor above us as the cleaning staff was moving the chairs around as they were cleaning the floor. We had very little choice but to change rooms again but the front desk staff were not very helpful or sympathetic. We had to escalate the issue to obtain another room but the only other Lush Suite available at the time also had a noise problem due to its close proximity to the passageway to the restaurant. (Last year we were given a Lush Suite in the exact same location but two floors higher and we were awakened at about 5 a.m. by the sound of carts carrying food to the restaurant- so we had to change rooms last year also.) Ultimately, this year, we ended up is a nice room but it was not the suite similar to what we had reserved. It should be noted that we specifically requested the preferred location for the Lush Suite when we initially made the reservation, a request that had been previously honoured when we had stayed at the sister property (Disinct) - hence our suspicion that the room originally reserved for us was giro another.

This was our second time staying here. The front desk manager greeted us with "Welcome Home" when she recognized us from our previous stay. She made our vacation very special by sending us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love the food at Armony but were disappointed when we were not able to get reservations for dinner. We were told that you could only make dinner reservations the day of the reservation. So we were very surprise to find out at 9 am that the only dinner reservation available that night was at 9:15 pm. Too late for us. Only other thing is that they need to do something about people saving the lounge chairs by the pool. We went to breakfast at 8 am every morning and all the chairs were already taken/saved with no humans anywhere near the pool area but chairs covered by towels, beach bags, etc. This really is a very special property in one of the most beautiful places on earth, and we can't wait to be Welcomed Home again in the future.

We’ve been to 15+ adults only all inclusive resorts and this had to top the list as one of the strangest experiences we’ve ever had. It started off poorly as I reserved and prepaid for an ocean view room and we were given a garden view room. Weird features included a treadmill in the room and the toilet area was glassed in like a fishbowl. We asked to move after our first night and they accommodated the change. The next room had an amazing view of the ocean and resort. However it backed to the delivery area and we woke up at 6am on 2 of the 3 mornings to the beeping sound of a truck backing up.
The food was not very good and we’re not exactly picky eaters. They have you sign a bill at each meal which was confusing to me since it’s an all inclusive resort. The bill shows how much it would have cost and then zeroed out at the bottom. Maybe it’s to help you tip? IDK, we tipped cash at every meal and at the beach. Along those lines they asked for a charity donation at checkout which I’ve never experienced before and wasn’t sure where those funds were going to go?
We couldn’t get a chair by the main pool as those were taken by 9am each day. We decided to sit by the beach since that area could accommodate as many people as needed. They would just keep adding chairs as more people arrived. Big shoutout to Jaime as he seemed to be working his tail off and had the best attitude at the resort.
Positives: Beautiful resort and the beach area is top notch. Smooth sand and wonderful calm ocean. We did have a great experience at the spa although the couples massage was $500. Negatives: Food, no coffee shop, no ice cream to be found, a lot of the employees seem miserable. Room location can impact your experience.
One more weird thing happened…. It was our first night and we were sitting on some lounge chairs just enjoying the sunset. All of a sudden a woman appears out of nowhere and starts sweeping all around us. Really bizarre because the area didn’t seem to be in needed of cleaning up. This resort needs to take some notes from Excellence.

We stayed at this resort in September 2023 and had a fantastic experience, which is why we were looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, our recent 3-night stay fell well below expectations and was quite a disappointment:
1. Dining options severely limited: The resort’s best restaurant, Divum, was closed for 2 out of the 3 nights we were there, leaving us with very limited dining options. We had to choose between room service, the lobby bar/lounge (Blend), or the cafeteria-style restaurant (Essence), which felt more like a neighborhood cafe than a dining experience befitting a "luxury" resort.
2. Misleading room views & poor customer service: we booked and paid for an "ocean view" room, just like last year. However, the room we were initially given had only a partial ocean view, with a garden dominating the scene. After spending a frustrating amount of time at the front desk trying to resolve the issue, we were finally moved to a proper ocean-view room. The experience, however, was marred by rude and unapologetic staff (particularly Daniela and Rafael), who even blamed their marketing team for using misleading photos online. This lack of accountability and professionalism was disheartening, to say the least.
3. Facilities are starting to show wear and tear: the hotel itself is beginning to look dated and is clearly in need of renovations. Our room, for instance, had a noticeable gap in the door frame that let in heat and humidity, and we experienced a water leak in the bathroom. The tapas-style food and service at Blend were excellent. Special thanks to Elizabeth, Fabian, and Omar for their wonderful service, making our meals there very enjoyable.

Javier from room service stood out as a shining example of true hospitality with his attention to detail and warm demeanor.

The hotel is very nice, all activities have very good instructors, Ana animation was with us in the super pending activities at all times, gave us all the information and was very friendly. So disappointing. I should have listened to my instincts… this trip was a celebration for my husband’s birthday. Weeks before our arrival I reached out to the hotel via chat, email, and phone number that was never answered. I wanted to request something special for his birthday. When I received no communication, I should have known this was a bad idea.
The good… the grounds are beautiful, tropical, jungle and well maintained. The room was huge, nicely decorate, and clean. The pool area is small, always difficult to find seating, but has a nice view. The beach is wonderful, soft white sand, and seating was offered right away. The spa is very interesting. We went in to inquire about services and we were offered a tour. We got to visit all the treatment rooms, and settled on the Italian experience. Pricey but fun and memorable.
The BAD… food! One restaurant to choose from each night. Reservation are only made day of, between 11-1, at the restaurant. You must visit the site of the restaurant your self to make the reservation in person. We chose to visit the specialty restaurants three times during our stay. I was served a short rib dish and a beef tenderloin dish that I promptly sent back, all fat and gristle, unable to be cut and uneatable. I cannot think of a dish that was interesting, or delicious. Everything was low quality. Drinks by the pool.. average. Drinks in the lobby bar.. better but completely dependent on the bartender. The rooms are nice, but the beds are extremely firm. I slept on the couch the first night. We considered leaving the hotel. I wish we would have. I 100%would NOT recommend.

We just returned from our 1 week stay at Armony. I cannot tell you how many all inclusive resorts I’ve been to but it’s a lot! This resort was pretty good. There are a few complaints I had but over all it was a nice resort.
The food was above average for an all inclusive resort, not that it was amazing, but one of the better resorts in terms of food. Alcohol selection was amazing. House wines were not great. I did not like the dinner reservation set up. The reservations had to be made daily and they began taking reservations at 9:00. If you wanted a prime time you had to be in line before 9:00 to get those and it seemed all reservations were taken by 9:30.
Service was very good. But, everyone expects a tip. We tipped a lot more than usual because the service was so good. Check your receipts, our friends had an issue where a server added his own tip to the check.. it was signed in one color ink and a tip was added in a different color ink. And not in their hand writing. We also did not tip on those receipts, we always tipped in cash.
House keeping, our biggest complaint was we never received turndown service, neither did our friends. Also, we were promised a bottle of wine in the room and never received it either. Some days they didn’t leave enough wash cloths.
Our room was directly in front of the elevators. If we didn’t use a sound app to drowned out the dinging, we wouldn’t have gotten much sleep. I would request a room not in front of the elevator if you’re a light sleeper.
Towels at the pool.. what’s the point of having to sign out towels when you’re not required to check them back in? I felt that was very silly.
Infinity pool loungers are hard to get unless you get up early and reserve the chairs with belongings.. which the resort said is strictly not allowed but everyone did it anyways.
Overall, this was a great trip for us with friends. Would we return? Probably not.

I will start this review by saying I am a Marival timeshare holder, and I am not being compensated to write this review. That being said I can not say enough good things about this resort. This is our second time visiting 2022/2024. The wait staff it excellent. Have to mention Jonathan, Carlos, and Juan. These guys will make you feel like you're the only one they serving. This is while they are waiting on 50 other people. There are activities going on everyday, but somehow you only know about them going on if you go to the location they are at besides the ice bath challenge which is located by the infinity pool for all to see. Anna seems to take the lead on getting people hyped for activities and does a great job at it. Seems she is there all the time and loves what she is doing. Jaffet set us up with a couple of activities and also made us feel like we have been friends since grade school. If you need to set anything up Marco is your guy. Walks around with an iPad and can tell you everything that is going on and help you get into it. All this being said I must mention again we are members and get treated very well. We had a group of 10 people 2/18 - 2/25 and can say we more often than not had drinks waiting for us rather than the other way around. We also had a personal concierge that would set up dinner and pool reservations for us everyday so no waiting in line. Big thank you to Juan you were great to deal with. Our group age ranges from 24-39. I know this resort is out for those who like to bring their kids on vacation, but this being a no kids resort makes things excellent for those looking for an adult atmosphere. Thank you again Armony for another great vacation and will be back again soon.
