Charming Spanish Colonial hotel but not well maintained. Bed sheets were not fresh, smelled rancid like they have not been changed for a while. Bathroom lighting was dim and we found 4 cockroaches while we were there...disgusting! Thank goodness only an overnight stay. Unfortunately hotel staff/management is at a different location, about 1/2 block away and none at this facility.

This 17th century home converted to a hotel may not be perfect but it still is comfortable and romantic. Everything works - AC, plumbing, fireplace, adobe insulation and the outdoor portal. I brought my overall rating down one because the bathroom amenities were not what I have learned to expect - missing wash cloths, shampoo & conditioner, and privacy door.... More

This hotel and its partner hotel down the street were both historic, picturesque, and gave the feel of living in a colonial Mexico palace, like something out of a Zorro movie. The central courtyards are elegant and a magnet for pictures. Each room had a fireplace that worked which was nice for us in January. Most of the rooms had... More

We stayed one night at this beautiful hotel, the building must be at least a couple hundred years old but it has the old world charm you expect from Alamos, the only problem I noticed was the noise from the cars driving by with loud music, but that's mainly because of the prime spot this hotel is located, just a... We stayed here in the middle of September on a tour to Copper Canyon. We had room #12 and couldn't figure out how we got the "Best" room in the place. It was beautiful and huge! The bathroom was all marble with a tub that had to be almost 3 feet deep. We really never did see any of the... More

My wife and I stayed here overnight on our way to the Copper Canyon. We had a large corner room that bordered on being a suite, and it had a huge bath. The hotel is apparently a converted private home. It is very charming and has a wonderful central court yard. The location is prime also just a short walk... More
