We loved this hotel! It is the Mexico you dream of - so much personality in each room, throughout the garden courtyard, in the bar, the music... There are beautiful flowers, quality wood furniture and colorful tile throughout. The staff is friendly, attentive and keep the place impecable. We enjoyed several meals at the restaurant and had cocktails in the beautiful courtyard. Overall it was a wonderful stay for our whole family. This is a wonderful family-owned and operated hotel.

Stayed with a friend for only 3 nights and loved it! Hidden gem almost downtown.Very nice and helpful staff, great room and shower and the 2 messages a day we enjoyed a lot. Will go there again. Only bad thing: the coffee at breakfast is very weak! But you can order great coffee with the press!

The good part is: the breakfast is really good (inside patio, garden, good variety of Mexican dishes, fruits, etc. ) however, staff is courteous but they are overwhelmed (2 waiters for more than 10 tables). The hotel is average at best; rooms are old but very clean, no air conditioning and only 1 window but you need to keep the drapes closed as they face into the interior garden. I would never stay in that hotel again but certainly would be back for breakfast. It offers parking which is convenient and the historic city centre is 4 long blocks away (10’mins walking distance). If you are traveling on a budget, you may consider this hotel, otherwise, skip it
