This small hotel is quaint and luxurious. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant on site is fantastic and very reasonably priced. There's parking available if you drive, which is well needed in this town, there's not very much available during the day. Close walking distance to everything in town. Lovely courtyard in the middle of the hotel. I had an excellent massage one evening that was cheap and as good and relaxing as any spa in the US. The one detractor is that during the day there's a lot of street noise, but they provide earplugs free of charge, which was a great solution. After about 8 at night the road noise quiets down to nothing and doesn't start up again until about 7:30 the next morning. If you think you'll be taking a lot of mid day naps or sleeping in until noon, I suppose this might be a problem, (though the ear plugs are your solution) but it certainly wasn't an issue for us. …

I haven't written a review in a while but this hotel was great. They made the extra effort like concierge services, having the manager/owner come over to the table to chat with us, bringing drinks up to the room, and accommodating my 4 yr old in our room with no extra charge. It's also super well landscaped like a jungle yet has zero mosquitoes. Charming music playing from 0800-2000 not too loud but but kind of as.a background soundtrack to your vacation.

We were happy to stay at this cute little hotel as the location is great for walking around . We drove to Valle de Bravo checked into this hotel and left our car in the parking lot across the street and as parking is a real problem in Valle we walked everywhere . The hotel has a cute little courtyard with a lot of plants . Breakfast was included and was quite good . Our room was facing the street where yes , you can hear the street noises , but at night it was pretty quiet so we were not bothered . Our room was funny ( a large bathtub next to the bed ) There was a little bunk bed with a ladder which I imagine a young child would think it’s a lot of fun . I think the people who run the hotel also arrange visits to the Monarch Butterflies … at the right time of year . Altogether a simpatico unpretentious place to stay while in Valle de Bravo…

We came to see the monarch butterflies, but there is so much more to Valle de Bravo. The hotel was fabulous. The service was great The food delicious and the staff was wonderful. Valle de Bravo is a Puebla Magico that lives up to it’s designation. We booked transportation to and from Mexico City, the butterfly tour and massages through the hotel. They were excellent.

The Best breakfast after a early road trip. The enchiladas and eggs are delicious, and tranported me to my childhood., especially the “enchiladas verdes” The warmth of the owner males you feel at home.

We are leaving this lovely friendly and charming hotel this morning after 3 nights here. The manager Rodrigo Martin has been very attentive and helpful as have all the other staff. It’s full of quirky character and has a tropical jungly feel about it. We had a very comfortable room with big bathroom and a little private shaded terrace outside. We ate here twice in the evening and both times had delicious food. The breakfasts are copious and good. I recommend the green juice! We loved the whole town of Valle de Bravo and the hotel is very conveniently situated close but not too close to the old centre. Thanks to all at the hotel for making our stay there such an enjoyable one

Came on a Tuesday for a night to check out the area and was pleased with the adjacent activities around the hotel such as the plaza. Service was prompt and amicable staff. Ambiance throughout the outdoor-vibe hotel was very neat and appreciated the quaint feel. It does get fairly cold at night but can purchase wood to put in the furnace. Breakfast was great overall as we were given a 200 peso coupon for us and this covered more than enough of food and drinks. The molletes were fantastic, bread was not stale (huge plus) and served with a spice. The parking is across the street from the hotel but very close.

Meson de Leyendas in Valle de Bravo Mexico, we loved the place, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the service made it even better. We stayed from Friday night to early Sunday morning. The food at the restaurant was very good, and we specially loved the artichoke in three cheeses (delicious), the guacamole, the chicken, their breakfast. We had to leave early on Sunday, so Saturday afternoon I requested if they could have coffee early before leaving the hotel, and instead they provided us with the Menu, and made a list of all our choices (6 persons) and prepared all our delicious food early in the morning 7:30 am, instead of their usual 8:00 am breakfast time. They made us feel special, and by doing so, allowed us to eat breakfast w/o rushing, and we enjoyed our last meal with them. Angel is the chef, and everything tasted delicious, Also Anahi Benitez was very courteous, professional, and friendly, she made sure we had everything we needed prior to leaving for our flight in Mexico City, she went above and beyond, and helped me print my boarding pass. Everybody was super friendly and accommodating to all our needs, I regret not having all their names, but if you go to Valle de Bravo make sure you pay them a visit, we experience how people that were not staying at the Meson, went there at the restaurant just for lunch or dinner, or to have a drink with friends.…
