We stayed here because, thankfully, Hotel del Lago abruptly closed and cancelled our reservation there two days before our arrival. All things happen for a reason because I can't imagine a better hotel in Ajijic than Casa Blanca. Owners Matt and Pam have created the perfect setting. Quiet, right in the heart of Ajijic. We loved this little town so... More

Moving is a BIG hassle. I recently did so (again!) and the only bright spot was that it gave me an excuse to return to Hotel Casa Blanca. My third stay there and I am amazed that the quality never flags. In fact, it seems to get even better with every visit. Matt, Jesus, Juan, Meredith - they are ALL... More

Having stayed here for almost a month from March 12 to April 8, I am in a very good position to reflect on this property in scenic, charming and quixotic Ajijic on Lake Chapala. The staff is uniformly wonderful, headed up by the uber-efficient and professional Merideth, a fully bi-lingual American, married to a Mexican gentleman and raising her family... More

Meredith and the staff are perfect hosts in this comfortable, clean and quaint hotel. It's located just a block from the lake, across the street from the Lake Chapala Society and just two blocks up to the plaza. Definitely a place we'd come back to!

I live in Ajijic, and when I had to leave to have some repairs done in my apartment, I moved to the Casa Blanca. It was clean and relatively quiet (important in this noisy pueblo), the staff were friendly, and breakfast ample. The rooms have flat screen TVs, and there is free wi-fi. There is also a "kitchen" corner with... More

Shortly after I registered on line, Meredith (from Washington, DC area) called to welcome me, and to let me know when my room would be ready! She was very friendly, (as were other employees), and gave me a map explaining how to get to local restaurants that were popular. Room was basic (room 2 at top of steps in courtyard),... More

Our 2 week stay (January 2016) at this hotel could not have been improved upon. A quiet, comfortable room, lots of hot water and, thankfully, a small portable heater for cold evenings was a good start. The central location is a boon. And the staff ! From owner Matt, to managers Meredith and Jesus, to the maintenance staff, all invariably... More

Charming little authentic Mexican hotel. Fe blocks from Lake Chapala and the malecon. Narrow cobbled streets, majestic mountains, gorgeous sunsets. Room with view of rooftops and mountains from window by sink. Patio was small table and 3 chairs outside front door overlooking common shared patio on ground floor - which could be shared with the neighbors who didn't have a... More

We really enjoyed our 5 days in Ajijic and at the Hotel Casa Blanca in particular. Great location near tons of bars and restaurants, the entire hotel management and staff were very friendly and extremely willing to help out. I highly recommend their property, we will be back until the time comes that we buy in the area!

Great customer service and everyone is friendly. The staff are great and have information on the areas different around Ajijic. Rooms were beautiful and always clean and the food in the morning was delicious.
