First off, let me say that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Most spoke very little English, but I found I could get by on my limited Spanish and there was always someone around who could help when I couldn't get my thoughts translated in my mind quickly enough. I loved the concept of staying in a storage container....

I have had the opportunity to stay at more than 100 hotels worldwide or so, and this hotel being one of the more expensive in the region is the only hotel ever I have stayed that don't let you access to your room before the time of check in even if your room is free and cleaned already. If you...

First off, we did not stay at the hotel but when we stopped by to book the hike we were graciously shown both rooms and the grounds. As everyone else has mentioned, Guillermo of Plus Adventure is a fantastic guide. It felt like we were out hiking with a friend who had a wealth of information about the area. The...

We did two fantastic tours with Plus Adventure and honestly can't recommend their services more. Guillermo (owner) went out of his way to go beyond the standard tour in order to ensure that we had a great experience (i.e. we deviated from the hiking path to see the waterfalls).

2 weeks ago I had a great kayak tour on Lake Chapala with Plus Adventure services, operated from the Hotel del Pescador- Ajijic. Guillermo Ruiz, a partner in Plus Adventure Services was my tour guide. Being a long time outdoor water sports practioner, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and rowing, I was very impressed with how Guillermo runs his kayaking tours....

What a delightful place to stay. Although the hotel is close to the highway the room was quiet and the staff could not have been more helpful. There is a full restaurant with good food and attentive waiters and the view is superb. The pool area was very popular but there is ample room to sunbathe. We decided to take...

This place was amazing. We found this place after checking out 2 other hotels that were not suitable and it was the best decision. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi were so relaxing we didn't want to get out. The food was good. My son is very picky with his food but he LOVED their Pizza....

I travel around the world for work. And I am completely impressed with the level of service provided by all the staff here. They made me feel at home from the moment I arrived to the last minute I stayed there. I want to come back soon to enjoy the views, the weather, and the great people!

Spent a lovely weekend at Hotel del Pescador this past October. The manager Luca and it's flawless staff treat us wonderfully, the rooms were spotless and we enjoyed the afternoon by the pool and having some cocktails. A wonderful dinner at Ajijic and then a massage at the hotel the morning after made it an unforgettable weekend. Totally recommended for...

Stopped by this newly advertised spa, hotel and restaurant. Looked nice from the outside. Got a brochure from the Front Desk which lists no room prices nor available spa services. She even declined to show us a vacant room. Went to their website....and it tells u nothing and is difficult to navigate. Going to be hard for this place to...
