The word "charming" is often over used when describing a bed-and-breakfast, in this case this is the best description for this charming B&B! The owners make it easy to feel right at home and we felt comfortable from day one. Centrally located and within walking distance of everything in the city. Just be prepared to walk on cobblestone streets, which... More

What a beautiful place. From the moment you walk through the gate you are surrounded by beauty. The grounds are amazing! We had the Lover Suite which was upstairs over looking the pool and also had a private large patio over looking the lake. It was large and decorated so lovely A wonderful breakfast was made for us each morning.... More

My husband and I just got back from a spectacular visit at Casa Tres Leones. Our room was amazing and we loved having our very own private terrace. The grounds were awesome and the pool was beautiful. Emile made us feel like we were at our home away from home. He is quite the chef and always consulted us before... More

What a breathtaking place! Our room is so comfortable. At every turn is art and natural beauty. Our host Emilio has made our visit so special. You will not be disappointed. Close enough to the village, yet completely quiet and serene. Walk to everything. It's uphill so you an burn off those calories from that fabulous breakfast

If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing break this is the place to go! It's conveniently located to the plaza, local shops, and only one hour to Guadalajara! The grounds are perfectly kept, the breakfast was top notch, the pool was refreshing, and the staff was friendly. I'll definitely make this a yearly retreat. Gracias, Emile!!

Nice location, great hospitality - I would not stay anywhere else. Room was nicely prepared, nice view of the lake and mountains and delicious breakfast expertly prepared by Emile. While making plans for a return visit to Ajijic, we didn't even consider other options...we knew we would stay again at Casa Tres Leones. The location is convenient to everything in Ajijic/Lake Chapala and the property is so comfortable. The king bedroom with access to the garden (#102) is very spacious and well-appointed. Traveling at the start of the rainy... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this small and intimate (only 8 rooms) gem overlooking the beautiful, quaint, historic town of Ajijic located on the largest lake in Mexico, Lake Chapalla. Because the north side of Lake Chapalla has the highest concentration of ex-pats (Canadian, American, Aussies, English, etc.) in Mexico the area is very affluent and has... More
