I travel frequently and don't mind on spending on a good Hotel . unfortunately Be aware 400 this isnt a 350 a night Hotel . The room had a broken window the air condition made loud noise and did not cool. the toilet did not flush and the furniture was run down really bad room. The front desk manager promised the world and one week later no emails back . promised a free night . then a 50% off then zero . He blamed it on the ownership . Do not go Great Pool! but not a 350 dollar room maybe 99.00 on a good day maybe just maybe . You have been warned

When you go on vacation to a relatively expensive hotel - you expect the basics to work. In our case- most of the basics DID NOT work. And the hotel didn’t really care. Strange that their guest experience isn’t really important for them. Kind of defeats the purpose. Our door room didn’t open twice, leaving us out in the cold for 20 min, The hot water stopped in the middle of the shower, sound system in the room didn’t work, blinds won’t roll down so we woke up at 6am , and the communication with the staff was confusing and frustrating. Good thing the bed was there. We usually don’t complain when there’s no need. But this was just too much. Its frustrating to go on vacation, pay so much, and deal with so many issues. To continue the whole experience - we didnt even get a partial reimbursement for what we’ve gone through. And of course it’s less about the money. It’s the principle. Friendly advice - invest your money in a place that’s not only beautiful on the outside, but one that will actually treat you with the respect you deserve.

What should've been a lovely experience turned into a nightmare. Our room had an issue with electronic keys, every time we left, keys would deactivate. This happened multiple times, once when we were wet at night in the cold. It took over 20 minutes of shivering before someone came to let us in. Our roller blind did not work and we had a large east facing window so were woken up at 6am by blinding light. The stereo system in the room did not work. We arrived before check in and were told we could take a shuttle up to the breakfast area and order breakfast. After 2 hours the shuttle never arrived. So we walked up the steep cliff ourselves and upon arrival we were told they were not serving any food. We were also told we would be contacted when room was ready at or before 3. At 3:30 with still no word, we walked back down to check. Rooms were ready, we were just not informed. We explained the difficulties we had had at check-out and were told we would get a credit for a free night. We explained we would prefer a refund or partial refund and were told we would get it but needed to email the manager. Two of us spent 1 month emailing with an unresponsive manager who refused to do anything (even give us the credit we were promised) and finally stopped responding.

No words can describe this place, the experience starts with the amazing crew they are so good and helpful in everything. The place is located on a hill where you can admire the beautiful sunrise and sunsets from anywhere. The water stone pool is coming from the underground of the hill making full of minerals relaxing your skin, the philosophy of the owner is on any side of the place making this place so spiritual and full of positive vibes.. did a mention the food and wine are beyond this world ? Looking forward to back !
