amazing property! Upon check in Carlos the chief concierge was Very professional and very helpful we had a wonderful room very clean the only things that were missing Bathrobes should be offered !Also I get in terrible in rooms just impossible to use TV for movies ( Netflix or amazon) The property was almost 75% an occupied as the outbreak of coronavirus is keeping people away —so sad! we also enjoyed the restaurant on the property Fuego we also enjoyed horseback riding !Definitely will be heading back again thanks Carlos
I have tried for now 3 weeks to get a refund from this hotel. I used Booking.com for the reservation and when I cancelled no one followed up to reimburse for the first night stay charge. All I have are back and fourth emails getting no where. The person that handles this matter only seems to work every other day. I’m still very trusted that they cannot seem to reverse the charge.. they have to wire me the money to my bank... I had 3 rooms reserved and after this chaos I will never do business with this location again.
Two days and one night in this peaceful and pretty setting was perfect. My g/f and I visit the Valle a lot and our first stay here won't be our last. Stay here to reach other points of interest quicklyas well as enjoy the great food at the onsite restaurant. The location is prefect, the food outstanding and the grounds and rooms are stellar.
Great place to stay at a good price, down side...do NOT trust the yelp, google or trip advisor hours. We made the mistake of going based on the online hours for the “Fuego” restaurant which was supposed be closed until 9pm... we showed up at 8pm and they refused to serve us although there was a large party of approximately 8-10ppl sitting down. Take into account we were hotels guests and we were looking into ordering dessert for take out (when they supposedly gave 24h room service). Please note that Valle de Guadalupe isn’t safe to drive at night with it’s dark and unpacked streets, making it impossible for their guests to access any other dinning options outside of their hotel premises!!! #inconsiderate!!!!
We arrived Thursday night and stayed through Monday for the Valle De Guadalupe Wine & Food Festival.....The first two nights we stayed in Room 21 (upstairs) ...It was clean but keep in mind the standard rooms are very small....it has a Queen bed and a VERY small couch ( No Television) in the room …. Also, keep in mind the walls are thin in the main old building....nonetheless, everything worked including the A/C (outside temp was 94)….We moved to Junior Suite #8.....beautiful room with a 65inch television , king size bed and a large Sofa and Large Bathroom... It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay....You are awaken by nature in the Mornings (Birds , Horses , sheep and goats) ... From the rooms it is an easy walk to the pool and restaurant....Had breakfast at the restaurant on each day but ordered from the menu...It did take awhile to get our food but the food was made to Order......Overall, we had no complaints, the staff was friendly and assisted us in getting a Private Driver for the day, including to and from the Festival ..By the way, the Hotel was fully booked and staffed due to the Festival.....We shall Return Next Year...…
