I just spent two and a half days at Ranho Los Chabacanos in Tecate, very near San Diego and Tijuana. I don't have any enough words to describe the misrepresentation of their facility. Their web page and their flyers are not at all what the ranch is. To begin, my "cabin" had no running water, when such issue was fixed,... More

The place is charming and rustic. It good if you like a peaceful and quiet get away. The food is ok, there is a small lake were you can fish prawns, I caught one after several tries. there is also a swimming pool and a jacuzzi, unfortunately we went on october and the water was very cold, the jacuzzi does... The Ranch it self is a nice place and the concept is ok. But the service is horrible, Just to give you and idea our gruop was insulted by the staff. So if you want to take your chances go ahead, the ranch is nice, but the service is not good. I would not recomend this place.

This is charming and delightful place nestled between mountains and wineries. It's a beautiful romantic and relaxing. The small lake is filled with small lobsters. A giant rock leads into the pool. The style is Mexican, rustic, folkloric and enchanting. Gorgeous brick domes and rock walled dining hall. Gazebo and garden makes you want to have wedding or event on... More

As we entered the property and traveled through a dirt road, we were a bit worried about what we would find at the end; as we passed a small lake and an apricot orchard, the road opened to a huge courtyard with a kyosk in the center and surrounded by the ranch's rooms. Only 10 minutes away from downtown Tecate,... More

Rancho Los Chabacanos was a very pleasant experience for my partner and I. The casitas were warm and inviting and the design was a classic "hacienda" style just as the web site described. The owner welcomed us and gave us a tour of the facilities and grounds. There is an apricot orchard, private lake (with freshwater shrimp) and the experience... More
