The place is very cozy and the staff is super friendly. The cost is not bad, they charged us 850 a night. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is very good.

Things to improve and why I don't give it a higher rating:
The TV doesn't have good sound or maybe it's the cable service
The air conditioner makes a lot of noise

For me it is a 3.5 or 4 out of 5, the truth is I do recommend it but it would be great to make these improvements

We considered staying here as it's in a good central location and we were doing the whale watching tour with Malarrimo. However after looking at the room we decided we'd go somewhere a bit nicer as we were in town for a birthday celebration.
The rooms are basic but they're fine. The staff were very accommodating with providing an early check in as we came in by overnight bus early in the morning. The room cleanliness could have been improved. There were crumbs on the bed and the bottle of water that was provided was open and half empty. Perhaps they had missed a few items in their rush to get the room ready for us.
Their common areas are very nice and some of their staff speak English. You can also book via email, which was handy for us.

We stayed here for the whale period booking online months before. They always responded promptly and quickly. The room is cheap and spacious, although a little chilly in the evening. The hotel restaurant is one of the few open late but it is quite expensive in my opinion. We also did the whale tour through them. If you want to have this experience I recommend it there!

Small quaint hotel with most of the rooms being little cottages. The rooms are basic and clean. The cottages have little patio areas where you can sit with friends, chat, have some drinks. I also like their gift shop!
We went out see the whales

Like many others I had a one night stop in Guerrero Negro and stayed at this property. Not a comfortable stay. The air conditioner did not work. The television remote control did not work. They provided no wash clothes, and no hand towels. The gap under the entrance door is just wide enough for bugs to crawl through. The parking lot is dirt, so on windy days forget about being clean.
Needless to say, I left as early as possible and won't be back.

Stayed here for one night while driving down Baja. This a simple hotel located on the main street into town. My bed was comfortable. The room was clean enough. The restaurant onsite was adequate. Not sure what is in the surrounding area since I arrived late and left early. Overall, this place was average and nothing special. It was fine for a one night stop over and I would stay here again when passing through.

Stayed here one night while driving down the Baja. It is located on the Main Street. Easy access into and out of the park. I stayed at the RV park which is essentially a parking lot with full hook ups. We have a 31 ft RV and fit just fine. The restaurant onsite is really good.

Sadly we were there because our car broke down in guerro negro. BUT these guys made our stay so so amazing. Super affordable, good water pressure for nice hot shower after whale tour. Great food... great service. Super friendly bar staff. I have never stayed in guerro negro before with probably 20 Rt drives down the baja. This will now be one overnight stop EVERY time....

We went for the whale watching and stayed at the associated Malarrimo Motel. It poured almost the whole time we were there, but we had a great time. Everyone was so nice and the restaurant was VERY good--and served excellent margaritas! It's not fancy, but adequate, comfortable, and affordable.

There is a motel missing from the review list for Guerrero Negro and that motel is the Cowboy Motel which as you come in to town from Highway 1 is 1 block on the left side of the street before Malarrimo. This is the first time we have stayed at the Cowboy. Before we either stayed at Malarrimo or Corocalas. The Cowboy is newer than the other two. The rooms at the Cowboy are twice the size of the rooms at Malarrimo or Corocalas. The rooms are clean, furnished nicely and have comfortable beds with no bugs. We stayed in a lower room farthest from the office and the password protected wi-fi worked great. There is also a phone in the room with satellite T.V. The shower is big with plenty of hot water. There is a restaurant at the Cowboy which was not open during our visit. Malarrimo has always had the best food in Guerrero Negro and it is a 5 minute walk from the Cowboy. The Cowboy costs the same as the Malarrimo or Coocalas. This will be our lodging of choice when we visit Guerrero Negro in the future.
