My husband and I went there in the beginning of October to have the best view of the autumn leaves. We had never been in that area so we didn't know what to expect. We loved that the camping sites surround a pen with cows. We rented a Pod because it was a bit cold for tents and we wanted to have a new experience. The Pod was really cute and we were happy to use the fireplace. There was also a picnic table and another fireplace outside if we wanted to cook. We went for a hike and noticed that there are not a lot of trails in the park. It was really beautiful but not very big. It was just perfect for a two-night stay. The view of the sky at night was amazing as well.
Just got back from a two night stay at the Paradis perche treehouse. What a place! Honestly, I’m sad that Au Diable Vert has so many poor reviews. It’s a really great place. I think that there should be a button you have to click to ascertain “yes I read all the information provided on the website before writing this negative review”. It does not claim to be an all inclusive resort! Do your research before you book a vacation. It was perfect for us. The staff were so pleasant and helpful! Depending on where you’re staying, it’s not a very long walk, but if you have a lot of stuff, it can sure feel like it. They provide a buggy for you to load your stuff in to haul up to your site. (Or you can pay $10 for them to bring it up for you) Next time we come we will plan better and take a little bit at a time (ex: take just what we need for day one and walk back to the truck the next day). This would have made it easier! I was picturing the treehouse to be a little more remote. There are neighbors on both sides, but they have done a really nice job of keeping the sites separate with space and vegetation. The view is incredible. I couldn’t stop taking pictures! The inside of the treehouse was perfect! A small table, two double beds and two single bunks. The pillows and mattresses are plastic covered which is a plus. There’s a wood stove and a countertop with drawers. Perfect! We hiked around the trails (nice, well-marked trails, but not many views or destinations), drove down to the river for a dip, and had a beer on the beautiful deck. Showers were hot and free. There’s a water spigot at the entrance (make sure you bring a jug), and a dishwashing station near the bath house. The cows just add a wonderful charm to it all. We will DEFINITELY be back to ADV and we will recommend it to our friends. …
Very nice place with awesome views, surrounded by mountains. We stayed in the apartment Owl's Head with our small dog. The apartment has a good infrastructure, 2 bedrooms, comfy bed, complete kitchen and a private balcony with a very nice view. We did some trails and the VéloVolant, which is also great. Our dog also had a good time!
Such a beautiful experience... sitting below the stars with a spectacular view all around. The heated seats were super, we were there on a chilly eve and they did their job well. We took a magical journey to the moon and beyond, learning and discovering in nature side by side - A night I will never forget!
We attended the opening evening of ObservEtoiles at “Au Diable Vert” in Glen Sutton last week…beyond the most amazing experience! At nightfall we / everyone sat on a mountainside outdoor amphitheater / planetarium nestled on the mountain side with incredible views. We spent an hour gazing at the star filled skies with augmented reality head sets that are given to keep. We were guided through the most amazing celestial virtual tour hosted by the moderator: an astronomer. It is an absolute MUST see …..by far is the most mind blowing experiential event ever!!! We highly recommend visiting the Au Diable Vert website and booking your tickets asap....well worth it!!! Cheryl Clinton & Louis Veillon
