A quaint B&B located on the shore of the St Lawrence River within walking distance of the main street. The property is quite large including a barn having chickens and a family of ducks. We stayed in the Le Repere des Anges room which is located on the ground floor just inside the entrance and beside the staircase to the... More

Stayed here in September 2015. Really great place to stay. Great location and the house is beautiful with some amazing views of the St. Lawrence. France and her husband were really great. We arrived very late and they were there to greet us. Bed was comfortable and the rooms very nice with an historic feel to the entire place. Breakfast... More

We spent one night here to on our tour of the Gaspe region. France and Clement were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was simple, but healthy and with fresh ingredients including on-site eggs from the hen house. It was the best breakfast we had at any B&B during our two week stay in the Gaspe. Our main floor room... More

We had a lovely stay in this wonderful lVictorian home. The room had beautiful views in 3 directions and what fun to be able to visit with the animals! Wonderful breakfast and very welcoming hosts. Good location for wandering around town, down to the pier and the park and river. We had a great break on a trip to the... More

We stayed here one night on our way home to Kingston, Ontario. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The gorgeous old building looks like a little castle and the rooms are comfortable and homey, and we had a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make sure... More

This B and B is a lovely old Victorian home with great hosts. The rooms are quaint and charming with comfortable beds. Ask for room with en suite bathroom. We woke up to a pink sky over the St. Lawrence and mountains on the North shore. Alpacas roam around the fenced yard and France our host knits with the wool... More

We stopped here in our drive across Canada. It was an unplanned stop, we had simply had enough driving for the day. And what a pleasant stay! We had our choice of rooms, so chose one that looked out the front, over the gardens. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Our bathroom was not ensuite, but it was right next... More

Great hosts, charming rooms - very clean - and the best breakfast. Enough reasons for us to return and spend another relaxing time in beautiful Saint Jean Port Joli. Since we are Swiss, we know what great hospitality feels like.

Stayed at L'Ermitage with my wife one night while touring along the St. Lawrence. We thought it looked like a big doll house surrounded by well kept grounds and with a view of the St. Lawrence. A short stroll away is a sculpture garden that makes for an unusal diversion before breakfast. The alpacas check you out from their pen... More
