This is on a beautiful site and lake views. The weather while we were there was great and the autumn colours were spectacular. We were able to take short walks around it. The restaurant is very good. Our one negative comment would be the access to the lobby from the parking lot. It involves stairs when it appears there is...

We weren’t up for a lengthy trip this Christmas, so looked for someplace relatively close to home (the Portland, ME area) to celebrate this year. We are so glad we discovered the Christmas Magic package at the Ripplecove Hotel, which is just 15 minutes from the Vermont border, less than a 4-hour drive from Portland. This special package included accommodations...

Discovered this place on our way back to the US from Montreal. What a wonderful surprise! The grounds are just by a lake and are very peaceful. The view on the lake is breathtaking with the autumn colors. I was lucky enough to see a family of deers in the early morning, strolling on the hotel's property. The inside of...

Ripplecove is a small boutique hotel in the Eastern Townships. Very easy drive from Montreal or Ottawa and easy to find. Lots of convenient parking. Lake side rooms have a great water view and are very comfortable. Our room had a fire place. Decor is a bit dated but tasteful. Public spaces are very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful....

We have been to Ripplecove at least six or seven times over the last ten years. It is our happy place where we go to unwind and be waited upon. The meals are unbelievable, the service consistently top notch, and the beauty of the setting is perfect in every season.

Dear returning guests, I am so sad to realize that you had to stop coming to the Ripplecove because of a handicap. We will consider, of course, in future renovations, to add an elevator to the inn. Be well. Johanne

Sure. Looks pretty, great location overlooking water. Staff very friendly. But they need some training. Also, the menus need work. Breakfast a major disappointment. Bar menu lacking. Sorry, but this isn't the best hotel in the area!

We are sorry to see that you do not seem to have enjoyed the breakfast menu. I am wondering if this was maybe before we had changed our complete breakfast offerings with our new executive chef, Joris Larigaldie. I am sure hoping that we have a chance to welcome you again. Most cordially, Johanne

This is a great romantic inn with an excellent restaurant. The breakfast is well worth the price. The rooms and the vistas overlooking the lake will leave you with great memories We would definitely come back.

Ripplecove is as beautiful and welcoming as we had remembered from our first visit two years ago. The lakeside location is idyllic. Everything about the inn radiates charm, elegance, warmth and good taste. Samantha welcomed us as if we were family. She and Janika cheerfully responded to our every question and need. Joanna, the manager, made us feel she was...

From the balcony of my room I listened to the loon's throaty call and watched gulls and ducks dive for fish. One of my favourite things about this romantic inn is how it sits so close to the water. Make sure you show up early for breakfast and dinner in order to secure a table by the window. So beautiful....
