The century + old home has wood floors, high ceilings, antique furniture, and cast iron radiators. These all contribute to giving this B&B a unique feel and character. The home is walking distance to the ferry, Tim Hortons, and the local pub. The hostess, Barb, was pleasant and provided a good breakfast. We stayed on the second floor in a... More

We stayed two nights at this B&B. The room was as advertised. The double bed room on the second floor has its 'private' bathroom across the hallway. This was not something I had noticed in the room description, however it is in the description. Apart from that the room was comfortable. Breakfast was basic, however the hot portion of pancake... The McLean House Inn in Souris, PEI is a hidden charm! Barb and her ladies take very good care of their guests and the attention to detail is obvious. The rooms are tastefully decorated in period themes, very clean and comfortable, breakfasts are amazing... it is such a treat to wake up to so many amazing aromas and the asssistance... More

Well furnished room with decoration adequate for an old house. We reserved a suite, which turned out to be located on third floor. This was indicated in our confirmation, no surprise. The two adjacent rooms and the private bathroom were really clean. The matresses were just ok. The breakfast, even if "continental breakfast", was better than one you could have... More

We were in a room with fantastic views of the water from every window and lovely ocean breezes. At night, the nearby hotel's parking lot lights were difficult to block out and the room's air conditioner was loud. Breakfast was passable. Staff were friendly but not exactly ambassadors of the area. No special touches.

Lovely view. Stairs are a pain. Parking is ok. Breakfast room is crowded with too many tables. Amenties are very limited with no evening dining or cocktails available. Bathtub/shower area on the third floor is challenging to tall people with slanting wall.

We appreciated getting this spot booked last minute, for one night, as this was one of the busiest weekends with the Music Festival, which we were not there to take in. I must defer to my wife's needs since she could not find an outlet to use in the bathroom of 101. This meant I needed to mcgiver an extension... More

I stayed here for one night while cycling around PEI. Stayed in room 101 which is on the ground floor. Nice comfortable bed with a ceiling fan as there is no A/C. Was there in September so A/C wan't an issue. There was a shower in the washroom. Breakfast was basic but good with some fresh fruit and I had... More

Looks lovely from the outside but now a little tired inside. Breakfast very basic, although did offer hot food. Stuck on 3rd floor which is not good with heavy cases and no lift. Don't know if this was the only room with en-suite as booked many months ago so was surprised to be that far up. Felt it was a... More

This is my second time to stay at the McLean House Inn and we will be back. Nice clean, comfortable historic home near the water and the Souris Marina. The place is always clean and well kept. We are there to fish, so being able to have coffee and a bite for breakfast was perfect for us.(not to mention some... More
