The BEST HOTEL IN MY AREA. Ive tried Aloft n others but none can COMPARE to this.
Customer service/rooms/location and much more… is everything one is paying for. Although, here the wonderful customer service is a complete bonus:) i love it more every time I go. Even just for a break from reality/pain and chaos in life.

We needed a room for the night before an early morning flight and chose the Novotel in Vaughan because we wanted to do some shopping at Vaughan Mills, and our on-site go-to choices were priced exorbitantly high this time.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a hotel that is a cut above any YYZ hotel at which we've stayed. The room was modern and well appointed, and since we chose the Executive Room, it even came with bathrobes and slippers.

After shopping at Vaughan Mills until closing, we returned to the hotel and ordered a delicious takeout room service dinner from the hotel's restaurant. We slept well, checked out early, and made the 15 minute drive to the airport.

While it may seem farther out than the other airport hotel options, we would definitely consider staying here again due to the comfortable room, unexpected amenities, proximity to Vaughan Mills, and free overnight parking.

We stayed at the Novotel Vaughan from July 5-7, 2023. I've got no complaints. We stayed in a 1 bedroom king bed suite with the breakfast included option. The king bed in the bedroom was comfortable and the kids slept well on the sofa pull out bed in the main room. We met some unpleasant people in the pool, but that's not the hotels fault. The elevator was slow, but that's fine. The included breakfast options are limited unless you want to pay more to order from the full breakfast menu; I guess you need to draw the line somewhere. But as I said, no real major complaints. No highway noise or noise in the hallway. Close to Vaughan Mills mall where we ate once at the Pickel Barrell. We also visited LegoLand in the mall as well. This hotel is a close drive to Wonderland and Dave & Busters (we went to both). We would stay here again.

We were charged $450 for a $255 room. Taking advantage of your customers is never a good thing on a first visit. Don’t stay here our room was considered an executive room. The bed skirt was torn looked raggedy old, the doors leading to the bathroom were all chipped and broken unable to lock, the bathroom had a huge tear in the wall paper. If you’ve going to provide a Nespresso machine having large paper cups to use might not be the most enjoyable coffee . If your organization feels compelled to charge over $300 for a room you should be able to have an updated modern room. Front staff were cordial but not able to discuss our concerns as no manager was present all weekend. Don’t stay here.

This hotel is a joke. We booked 3 rooms for a family wedding , and one of the room was supposed to be for 3 nights and the other 2 were for 2 nights. On the 3rd day, we received a call asking us why our luggage were still in the room that we booked the additional night for. We rush back and spent more than hour explaining the situation. We even showed them our room reservation. They told us we checked out of all our rooms and we need to pay about $60 more of our initial rates if we want to stay ab additional night. We asked about not wanting the room and check out since at this point I was too pissed off to even want to stay there but they said since we have our luggage in our room , we need to pay $60 to recover the luggage. We explained to them that we never checked out of the room , and we were at lunch so we couldn't have check out of the room. After careful looking at the hotel bill, I noticed one of the room number was incorrect. So what happened was when we check in, one of the room wasn't ready, so when we came back to pick up the 3rd room, they give us someone else room and they give our room to someone else. The person have a name similar to me, so they didn't check ID and gave our room which was for 3 nights to them and when we came to get our 3rd room we gotten his room which was paid from 2 nights. This is also a security issue, anyone could easily gotten access to our room since they don't thoroughly check id. Even after they realized this, they wanted us to pay $30 more even though it was their mistake. The Manager Ali? told us it's only $30, what does $30 mean to you?? They messed up and still want us to pay additional for their mistakes. I guess he eventually he gave in and give us our room at our rate. This ruin our whole day in Toronto.

Dear Joanne1818 Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. We had an internal meeting with the Front Office staff to ensure that we are following standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Please give us a call at 905-660-0212 and ask to be transferred to the General Manager. We will ensure you are heard and taken care of. Sincerely, Gabriel

This little gem is amazing. Well priced, accepts pets at no charge and fantastic food. One of the best steaks we have ever had served in a restaurant. Only suggestion would be to remove the carpets in the rooms....especially with pets.
We will only stay here from now on when in the area.

This hotel is very cheap. they do not clean your room everyday. They say its because of covid-19 but thats such a lie. Only hotel i stayed at with that excuse. nobody seems happy, all the cleaning staff looks like they are miserable. they look like their treated poorly. cheap people charging 250 dollars per night and not clean your room everyday. Towels are ripped.... The front counter tell you to ask for amenities but it takes like 1 hour for it to arrive and you have to call multiple times. poorly run penny pinching. Embarassing.

A group o booking was offered for a wedding I was attending. The Hotel was aware that the wedding was taking place at 4:00 and when we arrived we were told that the Check-in was not before. 3:00, we did get it at 2:30 but after driving for 5hrs and having to get ready (shower and dress) and hoping to get to rest a bit we were rush to get to the ceremony . I was not impressed that the hotel would offer a group booking if they could not accommodate. If the hotel would stop cutting down on services and start thinking about the customer the rooms would have been ready. I booked 2 rooms asking for connecting room and they did not provide it. SOrry this hotel should learn what customer service is.

The Front desk team cannot do anything at that point. For future reference, please book via accor.com or novotelvaughan.ca so have the ability to be more flexible. Sincerely, Gabriel
