I was used booking.com to book this hotel at 2AM due to airline delay, and mistake to type in 3PM instead of 3AM, so I call this hotel and notifying about my mistake, I end up need to pay in full price for cancellation fee $280 US for fat finger even I got confirmation for cancellation from booking.com. I will never using booking.com as well as stay in Novotel Hotel in Canada.
This was the turn around part of my trip ... I was new to a big city, came for a family vacation and was having a horrible time navigating around and such a terrible time finding help... as soon as I arrived at the hotel my kids and I were greeted promptly and friendly. The front desk made me feel welcome and went over and beyond trying to help me sort out other details of my trip; car rental for example. I was beyond grateful and very satisfied with the customer service. The hotel was clean, inviting, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, filling and great presentation. Overall, a very good experience and will definitely recommend the hotel and be a returning customer.
We needed a room for the night before an early morning flight and chose the Novotel in Vaughan because we wanted to do some shopping at Vaughan Mills, and our on-site go-to choices were priced exorbitantly high this time. We were pleasantly surprised to find a hotel that is a cut above any YYZ hotel at which we've stayed. The room was modern and well appointed, and since we chose the Executive Room, it even came with bathrobes and slippers. After shopping at Vaughan Mills until closing, we returned to the hotel and ordered a delicious takeout room service dinner from the hotel's restaurant. We slept well, checked out early, and made the 15 minute drive to the airport. While it may seem farther out than the other airport hotel options, we would definitely consider staying here again due to the comfortable room, unexpected amenities, proximity to Vaughan Mills, and free overnight parking.…
We always love our stay at the Novotel. Special thanks to Yasser at the front desk for sorting out a room issue and upgraded us to the executive floor. He was friendly and exceptionally helpful. It is a modern hotel we love the food, the service I recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.
This hotel is a joke. We booked 3 rooms for a family wedding , and one of the room was supposed to be for 3 nights and the other 2 were for 2 nights. On the 3rd day, we received a call asking us why our luggage were still in the room that we booked the additional night for. We rush back and spent more than hour explaining the situation. We even showed them our room reservation. They told us we checked out of all our rooms and we need to pay about $60 more of our initial rates if we want to stay ab additional night. We asked about not wanting the room and check out since at this point I was too pissed off to even want to stay there but they said since we have our luggage in our room , we need to pay $60 to recover the luggage. We explained to them that we never checked out of the room , and we were at lunch so we couldn't have check out of the room. After careful looking at the hotel bill, I noticed one of the room number was incorrect. So what happened was when we check in, one of the room wasn't ready, so when we came back to pick up the 3rd room, they give us someone else room and they give our room to someone else. The person have a name similar to me, so they didn't check ID and gave our room which was for 3 nights to them and when we came to get our 3rd room we gotten his room which was paid from 2 nights. This is also a security issue, anyone could easily gotten access to our room since they don't thoroughly check id. Even after they realized this, they wanted us to pay $30 more even though it was their mistake. The Manager Ali? told us it's only $30, what does $30 mean to you?? They messed up and still want us to pay additional for their mistakes. I guess he eventually he gave in and give us our room at our rate. This ruin our whole day in Toronto.…
Service sucks at front desk. Asked to speak to a manager, a gentleman by name Yaser approached seems did not know what was he doing not professional at all, rude way talking to us and even to his colleagues, extremely bad service I have never experienced this service in my life. The next day on my way checking out asked to speak to a higher manager or to a general manager a nice professional lady went at the back office calling her manager, I knew she was talking to someone,, I was told he will come out shortly,, but all I could hear was a loud laugh, waited almost 10 minutes for a general manager to come out, all I could hear is loud voice with very loud laugh, I left as I didn’t have my whole day to wait for a general manager to finish his jokes and come out. Not professional at all, extremely disappointed. I will for sure share this experience with my colleagues and with my company. Never again this hotel with sucks general manager and his service at front desk.…
Terrible service at the front desk, asked to see a manager, was told he is not available,, room super dirty, rude front desk staff. Terrible management and Very bad experience. Never staying again and will never recommend.
waited almost half an hour to speak to a manager while my room was not ready, he was busy at the restaurant laughing in a very load voice leaving his guests waiting. the frond desk agent went twice calling him.
This hotel is very cheap. they do not clean your room everyday. They say its because of covid-19 but thats such a lie. Only hotel i stayed at with that excuse. nobody seems happy, all the cleaning staff looks like they are miserable. they look like their treated poorly. cheap people charging 250 dollars per night and not clean your room everyday. Towels are ripped.... The front counter tell you to ask for amenities but it takes like 1 hour for it to arrive and you have to call multiple times. poorly run penny pinching. Embarassing.
Stayed here while our house was being renovated on for a couple of days. The hotel was well kept, had friendly staff, and were doing their best with the pandemic. The rooms were modern, with comfy beds, and had all standard amenities. Very convenient location being close to Vaughan Mills.
