A most unusual B&B along Lake Superior's Circle Route! The architect is obviously a lover of nature, and took his inspiration from a beehive. The arched wooden domes and gentle curves are as fresh and interesting as the landscape which inspired the Group of Seven. And, we were surprised by red sheets and funky accessories. The letdown was the "breakfast"... More

We stayed twice in October 2016. The guest house is a little up the the road from the restaurant, a short comfortable walk. The room we were in accommodated us and our puppy. Two queen size beds with ample floor space. Extremely quiet with lots of accessible woods for our puppy to run. Highly recommend this guest house.

What a wonderful spot! The guesthouse has 4 spacious rooms, with room for a small table, couch, and king bed. The knotty pine interior carries out the Northwoods theme. At check-in we were given "breakfast in a box," and it was perfect. Bonus: delicious dinner at the owners' Serendipity Cafe. Double bonus: a talented bluegrass/jazz singer provided an hour-long concert.... More

The room in the cabin was gorgeous, clean and had all the amenities of home allowing us to make a delicious breakfast before going out on our tour. This room offered much more comforts than that at an ordinary hotel and you feel much more like guests at a friend's house than a client. They also have a bunch of... More

We were travelling to Thunder Bay and made the decision to stop and stay at this lovely place. You register at the cafe down the road a little but it is so lovely - I wish I could have stayed there a week or more. Our room was on the main floor and was very spacious. We were quite comfortable.... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and loved the place. The cabin is very spacious and has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The place is very clean. The place is very quiet. There is a table with a few chairs, a couch and coffee table. The place has a flat screen tv with cable and wifi.... More

With only 4 rooms, you need to plan ahead to stay here. It is a quiet little place in a picturesque town. Very peaceful and a welcome stop. The B&B was just perfect for my wife and me to stop on our motorcycle trip around Lake Superior. I highly recommend it.

What a great find!! Just travelling through and stumbled across this wonderful gem! Definitely a wonderful place to stay! It is also pet-friendly and super comfortable for our family. Nice area to walk the dog around this quiet fishing village. Breakfast to go was also provided which was perfect. Will definitely be staying here again!

The ceaser salad had romaine lettuce (lots of that), a few croutons, a few bacon bits but no parmesan cheese!! chewed through a ton of lettuce but sure missed the cheese. My husband had prime rib which was nothing special (not a great piece of meat nor cooked particularly skilled) but the gravy - never had better!!!! could have had... More

Went for a family birthday party with a large group. Great food- friendly staff and great accommodations for such a large group. Only one complaint was one of the meals went to the wrong table and then to the wrong person so by the time it got to the right place it was stone cold.
