I usually stay at chain hotels, so was absolutely thrilled with the Waddell. We were only there for one night and I didn't want to leave. Next time I'll stay for several days. The room was large and beautifully decorated with antiques. It also had a lovely big fireplace and two

Dear Leslie, Thank you for taking the time to review the Waddell. After your problem with the noise in room 302 we had a repair done on the ventilation system. The room is now much quieter. We agree about the carpet and we are scheduling a complete replacement. In addition, we have scheduled maintenance for all of our tubs. We appreciate your feedback and we will use it to ensure that our rooms are as lovely as our building and our staff. Sincerely, Management and staff of The Waddell

A group of us enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner on the patio. Wonderful venue beside the river where salmon could be seen travelling upstream to spawn. Afterwards my husband and I spent the night in a huge room with a fabulous balcony overlooking the river. What a treat!
