I love the building, needs some updating and fans in the bathrooms, but was very affordable and the room was quaint. I look forward to stopping here again the next time I'm through. Manager was friendly, free wifi, right next door to a 24 hour restaurant/ gas bar/ convenience store

We stopped here for the night on the way back to Saskatchewan from Northern Ontario. We had stayed here before in Oct., but it was late at night then, so we didn't get a good look at the place. 1st impressions are a bit daunting but I will say that aside from some grocery bags left in a drawer, our room was very clean, lots of towels, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in !! The price at 60.00 + tax is a very good deal. Especially since our funds were starting to run low about that time. I realize that this hotel is probably classified as a 'crew' hotel but it is a great, quaint little hotel to spend a very comfy sleep at for the weary traveller. We will definitely be staying here again, as we make this trip 2x a year. Oh, and I forgot to mention that since Oct., I was under the impression that the name of this hotel was The Broken Antler.

Have stayed at the Locking Horns a couple times and will stay again. The room reminds me of a little cabin. Quilt on the bed, Lazy Boy chair and little Antler table light. Great rates! Very dated but to me it makes it feel like an old cottage.
