Stayed here a couple times, and always enjoyed the restaurant. Glad it’s open after COVID!

Enjoy the atmosphere of this place! Great music, food, and servers/bartenders. Mike, our wonderful wonderful bar tender makes the best trash cans and really adds to the overall atmosphere.

Highly suggest visiting at least for a drink!

On this, my fifth and longest trip to New Town, I was excited the make the move to Teddy's from the Little Missouri Inn. It was a large step-up in terms of facilities: a bar, a restaurant and a small but functional kitchen in my suite. These little "extras" made a long stay much more pleasant and mostly the staff were super pleasant and kind and friendly.
Small gripes would be somewhat variable room-cleaning service, and a personal peeve that none of the windows open so the rooms are either smelly from cooking or from cleaning product. Those mitigated by the charming and very helpful front of house staff.

I would prefer a slightly simpler dinner menu in the restaurant and a breakfast option, but overall this hotel is a major leap forward for New Town. Fingers crossed they keep upping the ante.

Although the hotel itself is very nice and comfortable, the hotel staff let you know that talking about seal clubbing is offensive, be warned of the snowflakes. Clearly Jill stein was a top choice for the presidential nominee for the hotel staff, #buildthatwall

Booked the “little Missouri inn and suites” put up in “Teddy Residential
inn and suites” room was average. Fingerprints are all over table tops and refrigerator. No liner in ice bucket. No sense of Covid cleaning. No masks. Elevator filthy. Food in corner. No paper towels. Half roll of toilet paper. Something growing on TV stand. Bed looked someone layed on it. Only decaf coffee offered for coffee maker. Free breakfast offered with reservation at little Missouri, but not at teddys. Covid put as reason breakfast not offered. No coupons offered. No Covid practices being exhibited. Staff not wearing any masks. Vehicle and boat not safe. People appearing to not be staying at the motels wandering through parking lots. No security, no cameras. Open season on sportsman’s boats and vehicles.

It sucks that this is 1 of the only 3 hotels in the new town area. Honestly the hotel it’s self seems good. The lobby and dining area was well put together. The room size is good and the shower style was intriguing. I will give them that as well. This is where it got bad. The bed had some type of stain on its comforter that looked like throw up. The shower had some huge buggies on the wall, something that would have easily been seen if they were actually cleaning their things. The Tv in room 431 did not work at all. I called and they said yeah a couple of our rooms have that issue. I also couldn’t be switched to a room with a working tv. When checking out I talked to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that he would be in at 12. We checked out at 11. I waited until 1230 to call back and the person I saw earlier answered and said oh he won’t be in until tomorrow. Once I said who I was he was like wait I’ll go get him. He came back and said the manager would call me back and that never happened. The hospitality at this place was terrible. Once again it’s one out of three so good luck getting anything changed at this place.

I have to travel a lot in my line of work, which leaves me on the road more than I'm home through out the year, and believe me when I say I stay in a “LOT” of hotels. But every once in a while in my travels I run across one that I can’t help but think of it as a second home. Teddy’s Residential Suites in New Town ND is one of those diamonds in the rough! The staff is the absolute best, and the accommodations are just outstanding! You will not find a better or nicer place to stay in the area! The “GM”, Ms. Charlotte presents the utmost in professionalism and goes well above and beyond her duties to accommodate me and my staff. You will not be disappointed staying here. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Teddy's Residential Suites New Town while in town for work. When I walked into the hotel, I immediately thought "what a beautiful hotel, and it has a lounge". Check in went smoothly, and the room was very nice, comfortable, and clean. I was impressed that I had a full-sized refrigerator in a kitchenette equipped with dishes, flatware, pots, pans, etc. The bed was also very comfortable. However, that is where it all ended.

When I packed my suitcase for my trip, I forgot to pack toothpaste. Oops! Well, unlike most hotels that have small complimentary toiletries if you forgot something, Teddy's did not have any toothpaste. I could purchase nail clippers and Pepto Bismol if I wanted, though.

My first night in the hotel, I decided to stay in (as there is no place else to eat in the area worth noting), and the bartender was clueless. It was Margarita Monday, but my only option was on the rocks in a rocks glass (no frozen). It tasted like it was from a bottle. I ordered the brisket street tacos, as that was the special (along with the margarita), and the tacos were actually very good.

My first morning, I inquired about breakfast at the front desk, and they advised me that I had to go next door to The Little Missouri for breakfast. The clerk then provided me with a $5.00 voucher for breakfast. I got next door, and there was very little food to eat. There were 2 scrambled egg things and 1 piece of bacon in the warmer. The food that was available was barely warm and/or edible. Mind you it was 6:15 a.m. This was the case each morning. Horrible!

That night, I again ate in the hotel restaurant, and I ordered the bacon-wrapped meatloaf. Again, I was happy with the food, but it took nearly 40 minutes for it to come out. Ticket times, people!

On my last day in the hotel, I got back to the room (after working nearly 12 hours), and housekeeping never visited the room to clean and tend to the bed. I called the front desk twice (once before eating dinner and once after). Both times I was told that they were having issues with housekeeping and that they would be to the room shortly. Well, at 8:30 p.m. a front desk clerk came to the room with a hand full of sheets and towels asking if I wanted the room cleaned. I was about to go to bed! I told her that it was not worth it at that point. REALLY?!!!

When I checked out, the front desk agent apologized for the day before with regards to housekeeping, and he said that they can't seem to keep employees on staff (but they are working on it).

I will say that, as a new hotel, it is beautiful; however, the housekeeping issue is a major negative and the restaurant staff is a bit incompetent. They are all apologies, but they don't do anything to make the stay better. No "what can we do to make your stay better?"

Unfortunately, though, this and the Little Missouri (owned by the same company) are the only larger hotels, unless you want to stay at the casino.

I wanted to give a 3 rating, but I am going to give it 2 because they definitely have to work on the housekeeping issue and hire better restaurant staff.

We stayed at Teddy's for two nights while on our road trip from Chicago to Glacier National Park. New Town is undergoing a lot of development at the moment, in fact it is quite difficult to get to Teddy's unless you take a short cut across a gas station forecourt. Our check in was far from smooth, I had reserved a suite and paid for it online however the staff didn't seem to recognise their own confirmation form. I reserved a King Executive and they didn't have one available. I had to have two queens instead. Then there was an extra $21.00 charge on the account due to me booking with Expedia, which I didn't. Finally it got sorted and we settled into a gorgeous suite with every amenity apart from no towel for dishes. There was a hob, sink, full size fridge, dishwasher and a microwave. In the bathroom was an excellent walk in shower and the room had plenty of storage. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent, seafood stuffed mushrooms, ribs and steak fries all cooked to perfection. Service was good too. I doubt that we will ever return to New Town but it would be interesting to see how the developments turn out. At the moment Teddy's rises like a phoenix from the ashes. We wish the residential suites every success.

This could be a nice hotel if they just took care of it. It's like they don't care about repeat business. Very rude and don't listen at all. Haven't had my room touched in 2 weeks. Not even for linen and toilet paper refill. Would definitely not recommend staying here way over priced for what you get. If you work nights , good luck, the only time room service wants to come clean is between 12pm and 2pm while you sleeping. Very disappointing
