Pros
Chic - modern.
Comfy pillows.
Comfy bed. It may have been the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
Contactless entry/exit that was seamless and secure.
Access codes to the building and your suite are provided by email.
Free parking.
Clean.
Everything I needed to prep or eat food was immediately available in the kitchen area...plates/knives/glassware/fridge/freezer/microwave/toaster oven/coffee machines with creamers & milk etc etc.
A nice welcome basket of chips/Dads cookies/chocolate chip cookies/chocolate covered berries.
Beautiful limestone/wood feature walls.
Lots of windows allowing for a bright room with east function window coverings that blackout the room at night.
A real simple thing I appreciated was the tall glass bottle of cold water in the fridge on a very warm humid day.
AC worked great.
It's within very close walking distance to a bakery, an Irish Pub and a Smokehouse that has awesome food if your a rib/chicken kinda person.
There are 6 suites in the building and I never really heard anyone else with the exception of a few foot steps.
There's a spa on the 1st floor.
Beautiful building & rooms.
Spacious enough to accommodate for an overnighter or a long term stay.
I've already booked again for Sept in a loft suite.
Cons
Clothier St can be busy during the day and the street noise permeates the walls quite easy especially if your room faces the street. The good news is that the street noise disappears as dusk comes around.
Overall a 10/10 stay.
I've already booked a return stay the day after returning home.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel in Kemptville. Being in a historic building with the stone work decorating the walls and yet the room is filled with modern design and amenities, this hotel is really set apart. The room was very clean, including the kitchenette and bathroom; as were the beddings. I'm usually scared to open a sofabed in hotels, but this one was not only clean and devoid of any crumbs, it was also incredibly quiet. The heating/cooling was modern, effective and quiet. The large shower and bathroom was stunning. And having snacks provided and a French press with pre-measured coffee was just icing on the cake. Good value for all of the effort and amenities. I can't wait to come back.
Note that accessibility may be an issue for some as the stairs can be a little steep and hallways narrow, but for me, it added to the charm, reminding me of boutique hotels in Amsterdam.

Very pretty room, pleasantly decorated and impeccably cleaned, very comfortable bed with multiple pillows.
Decaffeinated available, which is extremely rare,
Suggestions: a small improvement could be made in the choice of the snack basket to avoid processed products such as Doritos or Lays chips, etc. which do not match the quality of the room service.

We are always amazed at how clean and comfortable the room is. We sleep perfectly under the cosy duvet and the shower and vanity are large for all our toiletries. French press coffee is a treat as well as little snacks. The housekeeping staff are wonderful - like old friends. We especially appreciate that our room is on the main floor as we always have luggage and the stairs would be prohibitive. Thanks Kemptville suites for being our home away from home.

We booked Kemptville Suites for three nites while visiting family who had recently moved to Kemptville. From the moment we let ourselves into the building via code and then into our room we were greeted by a beautiful aroma . The decor of our Queen Suite which had a very comfortable KING bed and lovely fire place was so unique and comfortable.Every need was taken care of… there was a a regular coffee pot and a coffee press, a variety of teas ..cream and milk and bottle of water in the fridge and a lovely basket of yummy treats on the table. The kitchen was well equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, dishes and utensils…nothing was left out. The bathroom was beautiful and large ..I loved the walk in shower.
My only complaint is that I wish we could have spent more time enjoying our suite as we were only there to sleep spending most of our time with family…
We had one small issue with the TV remote and We called and someone arrived within 5 minutes and problem was resolved……there is no live TV ..just Netflix

A relaxing and pleasant spot. Kemptville Suites is a beautifully renovated stone building in a quiet area of a lovely Eastern Ontario community. It was our first experience with staying somewhere without a "Front Desk", but we quite enjoyed that privacy and smooth entry and departure process. The room was spacious and welcoming. The amenities were appreciated. It would have been helpful to know what sort of coffee maker was available! We bought a certain type of 'pod', but didn't need to use it! There was, however, enough available on site that we didn't even need to purchase anything beforehand. Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend.

I dont remember ever giving a hotel a five star as there could always be improvements. But this place is truly a diamond in the rough.
We booked a room on Sept 24th. It was my First time reserving a hotel that did not have a front desk or lobby. I must admit that this made me apprehensive at first. But the communication during booking and our stay was one of the best experiences I have ever had. There are phone numbers available to call at any time during the stay, and someone always picks up the phone. Excellent customer service!
Check in was at 4 and we arrived at 6:15. From the outside, the place seemed a little sketchy, as it is situated in the middle of town and looked abandoned, with no cars in the parking, and minimal advertisement. My first thought was "omg... what did i do?" But the stone work was beautiful and the premises were exceptionally clean, they even had a smoking area in the back.
Though situated on close proximity to the road, no noise could be heard from inside. The room was stunning! Comparable and exceeding other high end boutique hotels, this room was well thought out. The high quality modern finishes mixed with beautiful artwork and rustic features of the building itself, gave the room a romantic and relaxing feel. The room was equipped with all nessessities for a several day stay; icluding: utensils, microwave, extra towels, ect... but it is in the extra details that make this place worth the experience. Bathrobes, wine glasses (no plastic cups) a small basket of snacks, a fridge with fresh cold water, a mounted tv with swiveling bracket lets you watch it from anywhere, and more... all in all; it was the quality and thought that was put into the place, that makes this hotel fabulous!
If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. Definitely will book again. Thank you!

In the past 4 years I have stayed at the Kemptville Suites many times and once again this week was so impressed with the simple process for booking and checking in.
The rooms are all very spacious, very clean and comfortable, and feel like a home away from home.
I absolutely love the quiet out of the way location which eliminates the constant traffic noise experienced at many other hotels near major highways.
Thankyou again for a great stay.

We stayed in one of the smaller suites for 3 nights. The room was cozy and well appointed with a small but equipped kitchenette. Snacks and coffee were provided and all instructions for entrance and television operation were easily understood. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace and couch with chaise were just great for relaxing and watching tv. As the location is right in the heart of downtown Kemptville, stores and restaurants are within walking distance.
