Over priced for what you get. Stained rugs, bare light bulb over one bed, someone else's hair on the sheets, sunken mattress. Old would be OK if it were clean, but it was not. Very little sleep as staff were cleaning rooms in the evening (!??!) and using the room above us as a staging area (at least this is... More

This motel is kept clean but still has the bug problem documented by another reviewer two years ago. (In addition to the crawling type found in the photos, there was also a wasp in our room!) In-room Wi-fi wasn't working, had to resort to the lobby. Neither the husband nor wife of this mom-and-pop establishment speaks English well enough to... More

Unless you're a diva that demands a mint on your pillow, this place is a great place to stay! Very clean, our room was so spacious! With a balcony. Super close to the tourist information and port hawksbury. We had our own balcony. And the best part was the super fast internet!

Having done no research, we checked in on our way to North Sydney as motel looked grand. However, once in room began to notice motel was well past its due date - unless the date was with a bulldozer. Toilet was located so close to the wall, that even an average sized butt would not fit on it. Left handed... More

My room was huge with a vaulted ceiling. It was absolutely spotless, there was a big tv and a fridge and a coffeemaker. The A&W is 3 minutes away and it is right across the roundabout to the tourist office and gift shop. The noise in the hallway in the morning was annoying, starting around 6 am and in the... More

Wasn't great, wasn't awful. For the budget conscious traveler, there's nothing wrong with this one. My wife wasn't thrilled about it, but we were just passing through and for a relatively comfy bed in a cleanish room for a decent price.

We generally do a bit of research and book hotels in advance, but last night we got caught. The only spot we could find for the 3 of us in our party was the Causeway MOT L. We should have taken a clue from the burned out sign and just kept on going. 2 double beds, both sagging in the... More
