Stayed here for 1 night, as we entered the reception there was an overwhelming smell of dogs & 2 dogs duly appeared, they were nice enough dogs, well behaved but they did smell the reception out. We had a superior queen room with sea view which was in a little group of 4 away from the main building, it was... More

A beautiful inn in the less-touristy area of Nova Scotia. The rooms I saw were all charming, clean, and comfy, and, all had a fabulous sea view. Excellent restaurant! Hosts are welcoming and happy to share information about things to see in the area, or just best places to spend a relaxing day. Three very friendly dogs.

We were most impressed with this quaint, neat, unique, the Eastern Shore's best kept secret, place. The resident 3 dogs were old, quiet, and slept all the time and did not go near the rooms. The rooms were clean and in good taste. The food served in a very cozy dining room that overlooked the bay was a chef's masterpiece... More

We enjoyed an excellent dinner and breakfast. The accommodations are absolutely lovely. The view is fantastic and our room was very clean and comfortable. We loved our visit and SeaWind Landing is a place to which we would love to return. It is the perfect spot between Cape Breton and Halifax. It is a very scenic drive to get there.

Nice spot very much off the beaten path. It was clean and comfortable. We had a very small room which was totally fine and what I expected and needed. The grounds are quaint and rustic. The only real issue isn't a huge issue but should be mentioned. The onsight dining is likely the only spot for miles and while the... More

Thank you for your comments. We were disappointed to hear your meal was not up to our usual standards. The rice on the night in question was an aged basmati with saffron which if you were expecting a pilaf would have seemed somewhat bland. We never use frozen vegetables but apologize if they were overcooked. They are seasoned and steamed... More

Stayed at the Seawind for several days in July. Loved the convenient location between Cape Breton, Antigonish and Marine Drive. Very clean and neat facility, breakfast was super delicious, tea was sublime, and the facility grounds and so beautiful to feel relaxed all day long. Will definitely return for more visits. Loved the dogs and the friendly staff.

Room was located on the upper level of a 2 story, 4 unit building. There is a choice of several buildings at the Inn, and some rooms are located in the main Inn. The room was spacious, fantastic views, large bathroom and deck with chairs. Best part, the food. Breakfast was included and one ordered from a menu. We had... More

Located on the waterfront, this if a perfect oasis of tranquility. The views are stunning; a beachcombers paradise, especially at low tide when it is possible to walk across to a deserted island opposite the inn. The rooms at the inn are lovely, clean and comfortable. We had a room in the annex with balcony facing out to sea -... More

Looked for an out-of-the-way place on the water and found SeaWind. It was a perfect location and perfect stay. While the weather was classic Nova Scotia (cold, windy and fog), the scenery was breathtaking, the rooms charming, and the meals the best we had in all of Nova Scotia. Ann Marie made us feel welcome in their home. I highly... More

Fantastic drive to the Inn. Amazingly friendly hosts who also cooked a fantastic meal. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the Irish cream creme brûlée was amazing. Rooms are newly renovated and have comfie beds. Highly recommend the SeaWind Landing Inn!
