Self check-in, note and key available at the office. Loads of trailers onsite, but quiet, with only the birds and wind in the trees. Each cottage has its own parking spot. The cottage is neat as a pin. Full-size fridge for groceries, and full-size stove, and microwave if you're planning your own meals. The two bedrooms have queen beds, and the bathroom has a full tub with shower. The couch in the living room looks comfortable, but we haven't been indoors long enough to try it! It was a lucky stumble that made me find this place, but it is just what we needed after a week of non-stop sightseeing. I love it here.

We rented 2 bedroom cottage here- there are several, set in next to a campground. It was clean and comfortable, not too far from West Mabou beach, well worth visiting. They were winding down the season, we self checked in and out. The cottage was comfortable, nowhere to hang coats and the decorating was kind of bland, but beds were good and the price was reasonable. There was a firepot out front, but couldn't use it because it was pouring cats and dogs outside. Nice enclosed miniblinds in the door windows. The setting was very quiet at this time of year.

This campground is geared mostly to motorhomes and trailers and the tent sites are very limited and in lower ground which gets very soggy in wet weather. But it's the only campground we could find in the area and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. As long as it's in dry weather. The washrooms are very clean and the showers are good. Close to the Red Shoe Pub in Mabou (10 minute drive) and a very nice sand beach just down the road.

Came to west Cape Breton for hiking and sightseeing. Ceilidh Cottages was a little off the path, but not far. I was happy to have a kitchenette in the cabin. Beds were comfy. Great price for what we received. Martha at the front desk was very helpful. Definitely recommend.

The rooms felt very new with turquoise walls. Nicely done but may not age well. Breakfast room was in reception lounge, which was a bit awkward. Supermarket across the street. Short walk to the Red Shoe pub. Nice place to lodge after driving the Cabot Trail.
