We were in unit 5. The view from the balcony is stunningly beautiful! The inside of the studio is like an old camp, if you are ready for that. The couch had a hole and hair on it, the place had a strong smell of cleaning product,I found food in the sink and I could feel the springs in the bed...So... More

Stayed here for just 1 night in late June. Had a small upstairs room 3B, quite plain, but clean and nice with all-wood decor and a private bathroom right next to it. The bathroom was also plain and clean, decorated in wood and with a bathtub that had no shower head; was a bit of a challenge to wash hair... More

This lodge has great potential, but needs some work. The location is superb - right on the water with easy access to the beach. Our room (suite 4 I believe) consisted of 2 bedrooms, a little kitchenette, and bathroom, and was an upper level with a balcony, which allowed us to enjoy the view. The walls/floors are incredibly thin. We... More

Don't stay here if you are looking for luxury, high speed internet, or sound-proof rooms. It's very basic but has everything you need for a get-away. Staff is very helpful and courteous. I would stay there again but would definitely bring along some breakfast and sandwich making supplies.

Stayed here on the weekend. If you're not looking for a luxurious five star experience, want somewhere warm to sleep, can appreciate a fantastic view, and are on a budget, this is the place for you! Seriously though, he was great to deal with, gave us a room at 9 o'clock at night, and was extremely helpful. All around great... More

This lodge has a wonderful location on the ocean. That's the only thing wonderful about it. It is terribly run down and shabby. It was clean and we were needing a room, so we stayed there, but one night was enough. The people were nice. Shower was tiny and the room had a strange smell. The curtains just barely covered... The stairs seem a bit daunting at first but they are sturdier than they look. The room is large and has a great view of the ocean. The kitchen would be hard to cook in (warmer vs. stove) but there is dishware and a fridge. The bathroom is small but functional. The bed is not terribly comfortable - in need... More

Stayed there last week for a night. The good: nice view over the water, there was a kitchen, so if you wanted to cook your own food, you could. The bed was ok, a bit on the firm side, but not a rock. The bad: the walls are paper thin. You could hear every word spoken in the next room,... More

We stayed at the Driftwood in October. The autumn colours were spectacular at that time. The view of the ocean from the large balcony was very nice, and earlier in the season when the weather was warmer, would have been a pleasant place to pass the time. I forgot something in the room, and they made a wonderful job of... More

Excellent spot for trek mers on Cabot Trail. A Nice idea to have flat made of Wood in a converted barn. A kind of nice farm style. Even if a bit dated, we enjoyed our stay and the wonderful view on the ocean from our second flood bedroom. Our neighbours were a bit noisy but it's ok. There is no... More
