I was looking forward to staying here, but things were not as good as I expected. The main problem was that we stayed at the recently renovated Corson House. It was not ready yet for habitation. For instance, my in-laws room had no curtains. The management's response was it was on order. Our room had a slippery shower and my... More

This is a lovely lodge that began in 1940 and has been expanded and renovated many times. The main building has all of the original elegant features and still feels very welcoming and comfortable. Our visit was for 3 nights as part of a Tauck tour. It was explained to us that they were just finishing a multi-million dollar renovation... More

Just inside the entrance to the Park on the Atlantic side you can base yourself here and do easy day trips. Our room in the Corson House was big and comfortable if spare with a nice picture windows in our case and a door that opened onto a common outside area with big red chairs that looked out on the... We stayed at the beautiful Keltic Lodge for only 1 night, and we wished that we had visited for longer. The lodge is set over a cove with amazing scenery. To wake up in the morning and see the ocean is absolutely amazing. However, we were not able to get a oceanside room (had a view of the parking lot... More

Great hotel near in the national park. Very good food, bars and service. Large property so you never felt it was crowded We loved the spa, golf course. Great scenery and weather Cant wait to go back. The cabins are a little dated, the rooms in the hotel are nicer.

Spectacular resort, beautiful views, wonderful newly renovated rooms. We booked 5 months in advance to get a newly renovated room in mid July. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The beach is amazing, the pool fantastic, and the view... Did I say the view is amazing? Be warned that you have to buy a park pass for the... More

Was excited to book accommodations at the Keltic Lodge for a night during a 3-day Cape Breton excursion, since it has a prime location within the national park and by most accounts, including Conde Nast, it's among the most desirable destinations in the world. Well, that certainly wasn't our experience. I suppose if you want to spend $450-650 a night... More

They are proceeding with renovations so a few things were missing. No shower caddy or towel rocks in place yet. The curtains let the light in so be careful on the first floor. I hope these will be upgraded as part of the renovation completion. The room is very roomy and has a fridge so you can keep beverages there.... More

We recently spent a night at Keltic Lodge in one of the beautifully restored/renovated suites. Having been there many years ago, it was heartwarming to see the care and consideration that has been put into returning this jewel to its's former glory. The view, of course, remains as spectacular as always - however, there has been a concerted effort to... More

When we checked in we were given one of the newly renovated rooms an although there were some some finishing touches that need to be done to the room it was very spacious and comfortable. The wait staff was great and the food was good and the views were fantastic
