Veronique & husband Giles Haché are superb examples of traditional Acadian style & values: endlessly cheerful, resourceful, generous, considerate, hard-working and welcoming. My wife & I stayed two nights, while I was in Chéticamp doing genealogy. We were the first guests of the season. What royal treatment! Loved the breakfast (with very good coffee, & I'm particular about that). Loved... More

Lovely, welcoming hostess. Very chatty and informative. We stayed, for 1 night, in Room 4, downstairs, under the dining area. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Really cute chipmunk, right outside our door! Also saw the moose, just before breakfast, which was great! Wonderful breakfast, with great pancakes, REAL maple syrup and delicious muffins. If we are lucky enough to be... More

We stayed in one of the cabins which we really liked. It had plenty of room & we didn't feel cramped. Room came outfitted with 2 comfortable beds, a small dining table and a little kitchenette with sink, microwave, fridge, dishes etc. The breakfast was really tasty - bacon & eggs, blueberry muffins and the most delicious pancakes! (Veronica told... More

Veronica is a pleasure to talk with and knows everyone and everything to do in town. She took the time to write out a specialized itinerary for my wife and me as soon as we arrived. Her cousin in a great fishing guide, so if you can get him while you're there, do so! Don't be late for breakfast! I... More

This is a perfect place to stay before or after driving the Cabot Trail. Although the rooms are separate from the main house, they have a homey feel (in a good way). Our room (#6) had a small kitchenette, and would make a good base for exploring the area, and lovely views of the Gulf from the deck make it... More

Our time spent at Cheticamp Outfitters Inn B & B was lovely, relaxing, enjoyable and memorable!! Veronica was the ultimate hostess...pleasant, warm, gracious, efficient and knowledgeable about the area and it's rich history. Veronica is gracious and has a rich personal history and knowledge of the Cheticamp. The accommodations were quiet spacious, clean, and inviting. The breakfasts were delicious especially the muffins full of blueberries and the whole wheat pancakes. Coffee was of good quality and strong too. The big sign on the highway greatly assisted us in knowing where to turn and... More

Only had one night here as we were traveling the Cabot Trail. Cheticamp is wonderful, and the Outfitters B&B was a very relaxing place to stay. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, and the location up on the hill overlooking the water is excellent. Veronica is one of those people you feel as though you've known your whole life ..... Cheticamp Outfitters is a wonderful B&B with fabulous hosts Veronique and Gilles who are from the area. We spent 3 nights there. The B&B (no longer an outfitter operation) is nestled in the hills located about 5 minutes from the southern edge of town where there about 10 restos. It is not right on the water but has an amazing... More
