This was our 2nd visit to Baddeck and our first stay (two nights) at the inn. Located on the main street, basically in the centre of town, it is on a large property which has lots of parking. The inn is three floors plus separate motel style rooms. Our room on the second floor looked east over the town and the lake and had a small balcony with two chairs and a table. The room was not huge but very comfortable. We were travelling with an electric cooler and staff carried it up the stairs to our room for us, and back down to our vehicle at the end of our stay. This is a cozy, friendly place with a restaurant with indoor and veranda seating, serving dinners only. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again because it allows you to walk to everything in this charming town. Note, breakfast is not available at this inn, but there are two coffee shops within close proximity, both offering baked goods

We were up for vacation with our motorcycles to ride the Cabot trail. We had put a full day of riding and now hungry. We are all working professionals. We tried to go to dinner walked into an empty dining room and we were met by an unfriendly woman that told us all the seats were taken and they were unable to seat us, but another waitress walked by and wanted to put two tables together for us. I believe the first woman had stereotyped us for what we were wearing.

We stayed for 1 night in room #2 before setting out to tour the Cabot Trail. Room was at the front of the Inn and up a flight of stairs. There are no lifts, so I’m glad my husband and son could carry the bags upstairs. The room was beautifully decorated and the location was great- right on the main street. No breakfast was available and the floor did have a bit of a slope, but that was ok as it is an old building.

We stayed for one night and were please with the location and cleanliness. Its a charming spot. We had a balcony and the view of the water was great. The service is great as well. Overall an easy stay. We would stay again for sure.

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. We felt welcomed and are grateful for their help regarding the Cabot Trail. The room was outdated and didn’t look anything like the photos but the location was good and close to some food places. Overall, an okay hotel which was clean but cost was high for what you got.
