We've stayed at the Inverary several times. There's no doubt some rooms need an upgrade but the charm out ways it. The rooms are clean - that's the most important thing to me. Staff is amazing; I hope you meet Emma a reception.

This is an old establishment. Nothing against older places, actually prefer them, but there are a few amenities that every hotel/ resort ought to have. There was no internet in our room. Had to take or iPads to the restaurant to get a signal. Nothing special about the room. Food in the restaurant was mediocre.

We stayed two separate days recently in 2 different rooms -the first was a deluxe room in the main lodge which was quite nice. The second was a deluxe room with a fireplace -which was electric and the shower alternated between scalding and freezing. The room was very big but a bit shabby. Buffet breakfast was not worth 15 $... More

We were looking forward to this lodge but found the stay a bit of a let down. Our room was in the building named Culloden we had a queen bed which was quite hard. The room was very dated. For example the t.v. an old style tube t.v. The glasses were plastic. It was presented as a water view which... More

This hotel has a variety of room types from 2 queen beds, all the way up to suites and cabins. We stayed in a 2 queen, and didn't have much for a view but just outside our building there was a beautiful bay, perfect for a photo op. I'm sure other rooms would have a great view. The room itself... More

We stayed two nights in the hotel while visiting the Cabot Trail. The grounds are very nice, but the room was out dated and rough around the edges. It was a large room and the bed was very comfy though. The continental breakfast was OK. They had cereal, toast, fruit, juice coffee and scrambled eggs. They also had bacon, sausage,... More

We stayed here for 1 night while touring the area. Not quite sure what makes it a resort rather than a motel. The grounds were pleasant. However, the room, although clean, was really dated. The front desk staff were professional- they politely handled a grumpy guest in front of us. We just expected more.

The pub and dining room serve the same food apparently. The staff were excellent, but the food was overcooked and everything was fried. There was no dessert option in the pub. It is a great location and the room was clean. The Inn is expensive, but so is all accommodation in Baddeck.

Spa and waterside restaurant closed, rooms were tired and shabby, pool area depressing. Awful breakfast eg milk cartons dumped on table, zero charm. Looks like the resort needs a lot of investment!! Shame as a nice location. The lovely waster activities man though was nice and rented us kayaks

We booked for our second night in Baddeck after the Cabot Trail. Our room smelled of smoke so the front desk staff immediately offered to move us which we appreciated tremendously (didn't even have to ask). However, the room we were given smelt musty. The grounds are beautiful but this resort is in need of updating. We found it a... More
